The annual eHarlequin.com RWA pj party was the focus of one of Publisher's Weekly Drive-By videos posted by blogger Barbara Vey. This event is a conference highlight for many authors and community members and a wonderful way to celebrate the friendships and camaraderie in our online community in real time...and with chocolate.
Well Barbara was so gracious and couldn't quite believe that we actually DO all get together in our jammies at RWA to celebrate in real time. But we do and she was so amazed that she featured all of us in one of her famous Drive-By videos. We're FAMOUS! Here is the link to Barbara's drive by video of all of us at the PJ Party!
Funny story is that she actually ended up leaving her camera in the Harlequin suite after the party. I found it and brought it back to my hotel room. I figured it was hers after reading on her blog that she'd lost it, and due to the wonders of technology, we connected and I delivered it to her the next morning at her hotel. Good times!

RWA...
Too bad I couldn't come to the PJ party & meet everyone! I stayed in San Francisco Wednesday night after the Literacy signing and that was about all my tapped out resources could take!!
The book signing was so fun and I got to meet several of my favorite authors. I am so happy that I had this chance to experience RWA since it was so close to where I live. I would have enjoyed meeting any of the eHarlequin hosts that I see here frequently but guess it wasn't meant to be!
Thanks for the link to the video.
Take care, happy reading,

Jayne,
The first thing I did when I got home was check out Barbara's blog...she's so cool, and a great supporter of the genre!
