LIZ'S wii fit DIARY

Day 2

21 minutes

Weight loss 1lb

Hurray!  I’ve lost a pound despite scoffing a bag of nuts while watching Midsommer Murders.

My balance check went totally to pot as it took me too long to work out what it wanted me to do -- as my dear Dad used to say:  "When in doubt, read the instructions…"

After that things improved.  I wobbled less doing the bendy thing on the yoga and finally worked out how to keep in time with the step exercise.  I didn’t get my left and right confused once.  (Maybe it helps that the dh wasn’t sitting behind me tutting at my stupidity…)

I did the run – my toughest thing -- without stopping to have a good swear half way and as a reward it unlocked a longer run for me.   I don’t think so!

I took five seconds off my ski slalom time (still knocked down as many flags), but only turned into a snowball once on the ski-jump.  Tomorrow I’m risking the tightrope…

Day 3

24 minutes

Total weight loss 3lb

Yay!  According to the wii, I’ve lost another 2 pounds, which just goes to show how totally sloth-like I’ve been.  (Because of the incessant rain I haven’t even been cutting the grass.)

I stubbed my toe on the step exercise today – pride goeth before a fall – and got hit on the head by more football boots than I headed footballs  (nothing new there, then).  And something really bad happened to me half way across the tightrope.  There’s this horrible machine that gobbles you up when your balance finally goes – maybe they thought that actually taking a header between a couple of skyscrapers might give people nightmares.  I finished the ski slalom without missing any gates or demolishing any flags, though.  Very smooth.  I also got all the balls into the little holes with 27 seconds to spare.    Made up for the complete and utter Horlicks I made of the hula hoop and the ski jump…

I sure hope

you don't hurt yourself as I'm laughing pretty hard here. I'd be ashamed of myself to laugh at your pain. This was great reading. Maybe add this in one of your books, I can see a lot of added humor there. Still, keep up the good work.

This is great!

And yes, it totally should be in a book.

Save the Date! You won't want to miss our annual open house event on December 11th!

March's Member of the Month!

I wonder if

I could con my great nephew into letting me try his? I wonder how much he would charge me to erase the data? That wouldn't do any good as the little guy has a great memory. I would pay more in blackmail money than if I bought my own Wii and WII fit.

I am serious about this as I hate to sweat in public. I think it's just wonderful that you are test driving this for me Liz. I bet you didn't know that?

When I get a little money I buy books, and then if any is left I buy food and clothes..-- Erasmus

Hooray for you!
