Yes, we really DO wear Pajamas!

it's Holly! She was talking about her infamous pajamas on her blog. Wish I could have been there. Seems like it would be so much fun!

...thing or two about pajamas - I'm well acquinted with mine!  That's the great thing about writing in solitude, no one knows if you're wearing your jams at noon!

The party sounds as if it was a lot of fun.  Hopefully I can go to the D.C. one next year! 

It's my favourite party too! The great thing about everyone being in their jammies is that we're all on the same level - comfy! Though some of us have posher PJs than others.  I was stunned to be declared to be wearing  the 'most resplendent'  PJs this time. But then that was thanks to my lovely DH - aka The Babe Magnet  - who bought me the most wonderful embroidered purple robe so i just had to show it off. (Jayne and Dream have wonderful pics on Facebook or I have a couple on my blog).

 But  the problem is that the PJ party is also the most difficult to find something to wear to. I spent months before  RWA this year looking through the shops and having assistants say 'well these are lovely . . .' and I'd have to shake my head and say they're not su. itable for this great party I'm going to - in San Francisco 

Butu Holly always has the most original PJs  - so, Hall, the challenge is on - I'm starting to look for my outfit for next year  now! I can't always rely on the Babe Magnet to make me resplendent!

But as another newbie (hopefully) next year, are there any 'rules' for the jammie party? I plan to start preparing NOW for the whole event. Lol I don't know what to where to which event, except to wear professional yet comfy shoes and clothes to conferrence (or so I've been told). I have my evening gown, unless I decide on a different one by then. It's just all the other events I'm clueless to. Lol

I have a friend in Maryland that I hope to see while there as well. She was all my dds first 'real' babysitter years ago at just 12 yrs old, and now she's a mommy 3 x over herself- the first when she was just 16. She makes sure to send gifts for the girls when they have babies because they're more like sisters than babysitter and charges.

I see that you've got a Blaze Historical coming out in '09.  I've heard that more were in the making, and now I know definitely!
