Okay, I've changed the focus of my August challenge. I'll continue with the anthologies, but instead of reading my autographed novels, I'm now going to concentrate on my ebook TBR (which is quite extensive thank-you-very-much) and library books.
A week or so ago I put a number of hardcover books from favourite authors on hold and I've just finished one, have another on tap and another one or two waiting for me at the library... gotta catch up! 'Cause I'm guessing that these books will be out in PB sooner (rather than later?) and I'd like to be a little further ahead in the series'. Below is my little legend for the library books that I requested:
* books that are title, I've read.
* books that are title, I've got and will read soon
*. books that are title I'm still waiting for... hopefully not too long?
- Karen Marie Moning ~
Bloodfever - Kay Hooper ~
Blood Dreams - Amanda Quick ~ The Third Circle
- Lee Child ~ Nothing to Lose
- Linda Howard ~ Death Angel
I've also got five more books at the library that are 'On Hold', but as they are still on order:
- Michael Connelly ~ The Brass Verdict
- Jayne Ann Krentz ~ Running Hot
- Patricia Briggs ~ Cry Wolf
- Kelley Armstrong ~ Living With the Dead
- Karen Marie Moning ~ Faefever
I'll be waiting on those... but I think that I have enough to go on for now, eh?

Read Death Angel
and while not her norm I still enjoyed it. Cry Wolf was really good and looking forward to Faefever. Really liked the other two in the series. Good luck on catching up. I did really well today. I went to the bookstore and came out with only a calendar. So far this month I've only bought 18 and read 17 so if I can read more I can make a little progress.

You only came out of a bookstore with a calendar???
Wow Deb, you're good! And it looks as though you've got great stats going as well.
Regarding KMM's latest series, it's quite different from her previous Highlander books, but she's still a fascinating story-teller. I sure hope that this series doesn't go on for too long ~ just 'cause then I'd have to wait even longer to find out how it's all going to end. *sigh* I really want to know NOW!
But I'll hang in there for as long as she keeps writing it!

I'm hoping
for a little more romantic entanglement in this one. I missed that in this series but I do like the paranormal aspect. I loved the Highlander books but I need to read the last three, I think. Another series I got behind on.

There definitely isn't the romance in this series
as there was in the Highlander books... but there are hints here and there... I just haven't got a clue what's going to happen, or with whom.
She's definitely got my curiosity going!
