Dear Kitty Lit ~~
Well ... It's happened ... I'm no longer the freshest feline fatale over at "the Kitty Kat Club" anymore. The Management even had the gall to suggest that I do a choreographed number with some pekenise puppies during my Geisha Girl number! Why, even Gypsy Rose Lee has made her share of comments about the rings and bells on my fingers and toes, and my pink flamingo coloured boa!
I guess my question is this Kitty: Is it too late to begin reading those yummy Harlequin novels I hear so much about? I mean my master, Marty, reads them all the time. I like to nap by him when he's reading. I can tell he's having a good time. He's bought several bookmarks for me to have when I start amassing my collection of books.
He puts the Bookmarks in books, with the piece of string they have coming out of the top of the book! Of course, it's just an unspoken way of telling me that particular bookmark is mine -- so I pull all the bookmarks out of Marty's books. I have a stash underneath the loveseat so I won't lose them;
Isn't that wonderful of him to buy me all those marvy bookmarks!

Dear Kitty
If Marty insists on buying bookmarks with tassels on them we give you permission to steal them. What cat worth his or her weight in mice wouldn't.

My best friend is a person who will give me a book that i have not read yet.

Dear Marty's Kitty:
We envy you. Although there are plenty of marvy books around our house, our people do not leave any enticing, tasseled book marks in them. Of course, you 'kneed'
to take care of them.
