I'm a little confused myself, to be honest! You should have received notice in your last shipment that the Reader Service program for LUNA was discontinued as of November 2007 - so I'm not sure how you got a recent shipment (unless it was a very delayed Nov shipment?).

I think your best bet is to contact Customer Service directly to inquire about your account.

This happened to me yesterday, but when I clicked on Shop and logged
in, they found them for me, and then they disappeared again at a later
stage

I keep a note of things in my basket, so it's an easy matter to put them back

Don't
forget if you head to checkout and then click back on the shopping cart
rather than checking out, it's better able to remember them

I gotta say - I'm perplexed. We've done everything we can think of to stop the items from dissapearing from your cart (we just installed a new system in December to hopefully eradicate the problem completely).

I've forwarded your comments to our Tech Lead to see what he thinks. I'll let you know what he says...

EDIT: Ok, he got back to me, and this is what he said:

If there is more than one computer is used or more than one browser is used, it could happen depends on what the steps are.

If we have more detail about the steps for adding and removing books, we might able to explain why that happens.

So....it sounds like it probably has something to do with multiple open browsers at the same time. If it happens again, let me know the steps (i.e. what you did in which order) and we'll see if we can get to the bottom of it.

I was wondering if there's any hint anywhere about the Canadian pricing? .... surely, it's time to bring that inline now to the US?  .... I think the value now is about par .... at least allow online for Canadians to purchase their books in US dollars (my credit card will convert, and I don't mind the small fee they charge for the coversion, it's still a huge savings)  .....

I know, this has been mentioned before .... just thinking it could bare mention again ....... new site, new year, and all

The CAN pricing issue is not something I have any control over. I continue to pass along all the comments I see. I do believe there will be some changes to cover prices in the spring on some titles - when and if I get confirmation, I'll be sure to let you know.

On the shopping cart issue ......

After our last discussion here, I placed several items in my shopping cart (while signed in) and using my laptop here at home

yesterday, I placed another book or two in my cart (it was intact) using the computer at my office

when I got home, again on my laptop, my cart was empty

..... so definitely the common denominator for me is the fact that I use multiple computers ....... on all my computers I'm using IE7 ....... other sites allow multiple computers to access the shopping cart without losing the contents, so I'm hoping that this can be fixed  ....

I'm accessing this site several times daily ... both the eHarl store and the community ..... so I hope that the techs can figure out how to fix this .....

I thought about it a while, and realized that with our discount, and the book challenge discount, we're doing much better than any price discrepancy between countries.  I won't whine any more, unless someone gives me cheese. . . 

One other thing -- there's a buy one, get another at half price deal on in the LI Historical line.  Is this just for the two historicals?  I'd like one of them because I'm collecting the McKaslin books, but I'm not really into historicals, so don't want the second one.  Does the sale include books from other lines? 

Eleanor - I don't want to mess things up but I would like to change my name.  I'm guessing I'll have to change it everywhere including the store.  I don't know how hard it will be and what it entails and if it will cause problems.  It's not a life or death situation if it can't bee done easily.  But I wanted to ask because the last thing I want to do is create more difficulties for anyone.

Thanks Eleanor -- It worked but I did have to log in twice but that may be cause I screwed up verifying my password.  Seems I can't spell things right twice in a row.  This should make things easier when people are talking to me.  They'll know what to call me and I'll know they are not talking to the other Ellen.

The members only newsletter caused me to place a second order for January. Not good for one of my goals.

Do I need to put me monthly Reader Serivce selections in me cart (I'm subscribed to "Harlequin Romance" and "Worldwide Mystery").  I've received me two free books from each service and also different "free Friday" selections I've ordered, plus a few others -- but the subsriptions have never arrived for either February or March at my house.  So, I don't know if I need to ORDER them, or if they come AUTOMATICALLY.  thank you.

If you are a subscriber, you don't need to add anything to your shopping cart on eHqn. The shipments should arrive automatically each month.

If you've suddenly stopped received shipments, you should definitely contact customer service. They have direct access to your account and will be able to let you know what's going on.

Looks like there aren't any Dear Reader letter's in the print versions of the books (at least that's what I've been told).

 Nevertheless - the Reunion Revelations series started in December, and the books all the books center around Magnolia College. The series started in January - and I can see 4 titles in the mini-series...

Feb: Missing Persons by Shirlee McCoy
Mar: Don't Look Back by Margaret Daly
Apr: In His Sights by Carol Steward

All of these titles (except the April one) are currently available on eHqn.
