Hey Ladies!!
Well, my Leg's getting better! Except now, since they gave me Vicodin {Hydrocodone}, I've been itching like crazy!!! So I called the Hospital and they're going to have a nurse get back to me ASAP. I can handle the itches but this is unreal!!! I feel bad cause I've been resting and helping Dad so much that I haven't had much reading time! I have so many books just sitting on my shelf,I keep them there for variety,for a rainy day,hehe. I have a bunch of VC Andrews books that I'm looking to sell or give away., I have Flowers in the Attic,but the other 4 in the Dollenganger series I'm really not diggin,so I'd be happy to give them to someone who'll enjoy them. I think they have websites that you can sell your old paperbacks. Dad is going alot better. Basiclly what happened is,he has a Catheter in,and it shrunk his bladder,IF he doesn't have a permanent one put in or a sidebag put on it'll turn into cancer within a year. So his doctor said that he maybe can put the permanent one in,or the sidebag either way,they won't let it turn into cancer. So that's good,but he's feeling alot better and is looking forward to bustin evreyone's chops again,LOL.
I am SO looking forward to Fall and Winter! Me and Mum will start making homeade soups and stews and I'll get baking. I look forward to that. I haven't been down the Apple Orchard in ages,I miss it. I can remeber when I was a kid,we'd get the apple doughnuts and cider. And the foliage was out,so it was gorgoues. I miss talking to all of you ladies! Hugs to you all and I hope you all are doing well. Christa what have you been baking hun!?! Amanda,what haircolor are you sporting now pretty lady?! Get back to me guys. More soon! Asap promise!!

glad the docs are keeping an eye on your Dad ... sounds like there's been a bit of worry this last while ... it's always hard when a parent isn't well
hmm .. vicodan is giving you the itchies ... I get that with codeine and morphine ... not nice when you're already feeling bad to have to deal with those maddening itchies! .... hope the nurse has called you back and has a solution for you

I don't know if I've been doing a lot of baking(Idid make peanut butter cookies today) I think I've been concentrating on my reading this past week. The last time I bough ingredients for something else but didn't like it so had eveything for the carrot/raisin except carrots heehee so that was why I was making those but they were really good. Now I just need to get some more ingredients and I can make more of those. I was also looking through my recipe book and I have all ingredients for oatmeal cookies. Plus I do a lot of the baking when my friends that live in an apartment in the building are home. They were home today and leave again for Arizona tomorrow night and may be gone for two weeks. Because it's just me so unless I can freeze it there's not much sense making it.

Sorry you are having trouble with your leg but that is good that you are feeling better. I hope your recovery is quick. Also sorry to hear about your dads situation. Difinately needs to have that watched and it sounds like his doctor is doing that.
