He is so cute! And I really like the name - does the name Landon have any significance to the family?
Congrats to everyone!

You made me cry as my nephew will be 26 next month and the thought of losing him just devastates me.
I'm glad you were able to reconnect with your brother -life is too short for feuds.
Best wishes as you go on....

I do organize my TBR as I purchased a database this year and started with logging all the TBR's. So as soon as they arrrive in the house, I log them in and then sort them by genre - and usually alphabetically within the genre.
There is just something about books - I love re-organizing the TBR bookcase - the books are double deep so I try to bring forward the ones hidden in the back.
My keeper shelves are strictly in alpha order in a different room than the TBR. The shelves are looking pretty messy right now so before I start logging them into the database I better do some tidying up. I might even cull too!
Sadhbh - your renovations for you to have a "library" sounds great! You must be excited.

I never read spoilers if I know I'll be reading the book - I'll save it to my favs and check it out later after I've finished the book.
You are right the HEA is not a spoiler, that's an assumption for all romance books - most of us wouldn't read them if there's not HEA. It's the journey to the HEA that is the meat of the story!

as to what book I choose. I've been much busier this year so I find Harlequins a quick and easy read. I hate having to stop in the middle of a good book to deal with other things, like work!
What I choose also depends what I need to do before I can start a book. Lynn Viehl's Evermore has been sitting on my TBR shelf for months - I love the Darkyn series, but I know I need to refresh my memory by re-reading the last one and I just haven't felt like it. Now I just bought her latest release - so I've got 2 to read now!
- 06/29/2008 - 01:43I have over 600 of them! But I still keep buying more. And the funny part - I'll stand in front of the bookcase and think, "there's nothing to read!"

she can redeem the bad boy in the next book - but if he is really bad, that can be difficult. I think Georgette Heyer had a real bad boy in one of her books where he kidnapped and almost raped the h. He later had his own story and even though he was still bad, he got his own h to help him straighten up.

Thanks for letting the readers know that it is okay to not like a book and say so. It can be daunting when we know the authors are reading our reviews - I certainly don't want to hurt anyone's feelings! But we all can't like every book or we would be a bit boring. Just because the plot doesn't appeal doesn't mean the writing is poor - Actually I don't think I've ever read a harlequin that I found was poorly written. Obviously the criteria for publishing is very high.

In all my years of reading Harlequins I don't think I ever seen a list of them. You can get authors lists esp from the fantasticfiction website - it's very good. I'm an HP fan so I have a number listing on an excel spreadsheet that I carry with me when I go to the UBS - as I find books I cross off the number so next time I know i have read it. Then I periodically update the spreadsheet and shade in my crossed off numbers and then re-print. (The page gets pretty tattered after a while!) Glancing at my list now, I noticed that I pretty well have every book from 2300 to the 2740's crossed off. I've read a lot over the years!
The page is also handy for joting down other books to look for.
I do buy other lines but am not into glomming the oldies so I don't keep lists on them - I rely on my memory.
Good luck with your search - I'll be watching to see if anyone else responds about a list.
