Interest : Other than reading, I love ballroom dancing (I've been taking lessons about 9 years), bichon frise rescue, and crafts (when I have time..which I never seem to) like quilting, jewerly making, scrapbooking, etc. Why don't I have time? Probably cause my nose is always stuck in a book! I am a new reviewer for CK2S Kwips and Kritiques. http://www.ck2skwipsandkritiques.com/

Wow. You mean that my family doesn't own the only existing copy of Racko? I think you are the first person I have ever met (at least as an adult) that played Racko. It was my Mom's favorite game, so we played it alot growing up. I know I still have the game somewhere... haven't played since Mom died almost 10 years ago.
I have one funny Racko story. My dad was a tacturn man who didn't play games with us. One night we convinced him to join us in a game of Racko. We told him the rules: pass out cards, you must put them bottom to top into your rack.. object is to be the first one to put all the cards in ascending order.... So we all set up our racks.. and he says.. "are we ready to go?" and we said yes.. Then there was this wild flurry of movement... yes. that was my father... he was putting all those cards in order as fast as he could, lol. We had forgotten to tell him the part about trading in cards one by one and he just thought it was a speed game.
Thanks for bringing those memories back this morning! Hope your game was fun!

Oh that is lovely! You are right, it is magical! It sorta looks like a big bunny rabbit... Sounds like great material for a book... heroine who goes on walks and the stones seem to reform themselves and change locations everytime she goes...

Thank you SO much for this!
It is just a joy to be able to click when I find a title I want to read your review on since I can't keep up with all the reviews as they are coming out!!!
- 06/06/2008 - 13:25I second the hope for Hero interviews down the road also... I just added the Craftie Ladies to my Google Reader RSS feeds.
I already had YOUR own blog there!

Felicia, It is clear how much you love Spence just from your description of him. You have already made ME love him, and I haven't had a chance to meet him yet. I got the book (Bayou Judgement) that chronicles the adventures that you and Spence had just this week. I can't wait to break it open and find out more.
Thanks, Margaret, for this interview. I know it must be tough to pin down these heros and heroines long enough to get an interview,
but I do SO enjoy them!

I'm delighted for you Kelley!
And didn't we just have this conversation about you never winning anything? <wink> Won't it be fun to follow her progress on the book and she what she dreams up to fit the title?

I really love this series too!
You accidently; posted this as a blog and not a book review. THat's why the author field didn't show up.
YOu can copy and paste the writeup into a book review and then delete the blog entry so that your review gets added to the total.
Enjoy the next two books of the series!

Brody dances!!!
Although it is a two-step and not ballroom, I'll take him!
Great scene, but now I wanna dance with him.
Lucy is nuts to be pouting. A guy that wants to dance with you and actually CAN is worth his weight in gold!
Oh rats! Not out till Jan 2009, Donna? Bummer.
And Lucy called Brody a tease! Guess we know where he got it.
