I wouldn't post your work here as stated earlier. Drop me a line by e-mail if you want to chat. I think we are close to the same place on our journey to being published.

I won't disappear even with my hubby home. He has a long to-do list to keep him occupied for a few days!

How do you find time to iron? I just pull stuff out of the dryer and hope it's not wrinkled.

I was a twin and my mom said my sister and I never took naps at the same time. My two boys are 18 months apart and never took naps together, either. (What goes around comes around.)

Good job on the reading. Maybe the guilt will get me to read more...

I have an anxiety problem as well and sometimes it is hard to get a dentist to take you seriously and not think you're being a big baby.

Go with your gut feeling and good luck on your future appointments.

I have been lazy as well but found a muse of sorts.

I rxed Julie Beard's book The Complete Idiot's Guide to Getting Your Romance published yesterday. We know that it takes hard work and tenacity to be published and we should make a little time to write every day. But seeing those ideas in print made me realize that I have to want it bad enough.

Things in life will always come up. No matter what is happening in my life I feel better (not to mention less guilty) when I find the time to write a little every day.

If you have a tape recorder maybe you could plot when you are driving?

I am currently writing historicals and just submitted to HH. I have been published in air force base and command level newspapers but that is the extent of my publishing experience.

You could just send me an e-mail with the plot problem you are having if you want to do that (?) I tried an on-line critique group and that was a horrid experience.Let me know if you need me.

My hubby also doesn't want to critique my work. He says it is a no win situation!

I think you're hilarious too! (But then again not many people get my sense of humor.)

you must lead, Lori. I am glad it didn't turn out messy!

(Of course I am still grumbling about someone who would recommend a book to an author.)

I like smart sassy heroines so that is what I write. My little sister was visiting 2 weeks ago and was the extra pair of eyes I needed. She is a great fan of romance and very blunt with me about what worked and what didn't. We even brainstormed my way out of my plot predicament.

Do you have a CP? I would love to read whatever you are having problems with. Let me know if I can be of assistance. I am by no means an expert but I can give you the opinion of a reader.

My hubby comes home Friday night!

I love kids but not enough to be a substitute teacher all day. As lunch lady I can be the nice guy.

After 8 years in Missouri I don't miss the tornado warnings or the ice storms.
