Well, as I'm not sure where exactly to put this, I'm going to try putting it here.
Ratings:
5 – Excellent. Straight to the keeper shelf for this one.
4 – Very Good. Most likely a keeper. I would definitely lend/recommend this one to friends.
3 – Good. Not a keeper but I would ask my friends if they want it.
2 – OK. I wouldn't recommend this one.
1 – Ugh. (Need I say more?)
There is one more special rating. This for a book that is off the charts.
10 - This is a very rare rating. An Oh my G-d, that was amazing, can't recommend this book highly enough, buy a copy for friends as well as owning an extra copy for lending out kind of a book!

It's good to be back.
LOL! Yes, that would be a rather scary pile of books to be blogged.

I'm very fond of my dragon (even though he doesn't really seem to fit in with all the fairies, flowers, pets, and children that others are using
). I'm really happy for you that you managed to get your picture up. And it's a nice one.
You got to meet Adrian Paul too? Now I'm envious of both you and Terri
. I loved The Highlander.
- 02/17/2008 - 23:40and I have to agree with the others - please feel free to post as many more pics as you like.

I'm pretty sure I spent the entire year last year behind and I don't seem to be doing much better this year (I just blogged 2 and I still have 6 to go
).
But like Kathy said, as long as you still have time to read, it's all good.
BTW, I'm also with you about Lori Foster. I love her too.

The long answer:
Well, when I decided to sign up for the 10,000 book challange last year, the hardest part for me was coming up with a community name. I had to come up with something that suited me, something that I liked. Well, I like books
but then again, so does everyone else around here
. Then I remembered that about a week earlier, a friend of mine had commented that she was going to have to start calling me "Dragon Lady" because of my growing collection of dragon figurines. I thought about using that but my friends and I decided that that wasn't really me. So I was talking to another friend (yes, my poor friends were getting rather sick of hearing about my name choosing dilemma) and she came up with BookWyrm (wyrm is another word for dragon). While that was rather clever, it was already being used in several places but that lead us to BookWyvern (a wyvern is a type of dragon). So, once I had chosen the name, I had to find a dragon picture to match.
The short answer:
I like dragons and I think he's cute.

This is a great post. So where do I go to sign the petition? I am so in favour of the TBR day (of course I'm with the other Canadians that have expressed the need for this to be a North American holiday). Hmm, it's too bad you didn't start this movement sooner. Here in Ontario we just got a new Stat. Holiday in February: Family Day. It was a
bribe, er, campaign promise from our Premier. If only we'd known, we could have held out for a TBR day instead. And you definitely got me with the purse comment Ellen. In fact, I always take a book with me when I go purse shopping (not a hardship as I never go anywhere without a book
) so that I can make sure there is a pocket that will hold a book (or two).
Oh, and you can sign me up for one of those "avid reader" tote bags. It's always good to have extra book carrying bags around.

OK, I know I'm a little late but I just had to say that they are sooo cute Crystal.
LOL at the "failed Fostering 101" comment. I fostered a couple of sick kittens for my local Humane Society once many years ago that my parents ended up adopting.
That was my one and only attempt at fostering.
- 02/04/2008 - 18:33I hope you (and your new, ever so cute puppy) have a great day!
- 02/04/2008 - 16:15That was great!
