I rarely throw books out.  I have read particularly bad books that I remember once leaving one on a plane.  There are definately ones I reread....Perfect and Paradise by Judith McNaught I have read several times each and some of my Sci Fi - Dragonriders series, Nine Princes of Amber, Replay ....  I agree with Deb - since books come out once a year I want to get the series together and read them in order to fill in the background I may have missed the first time around. The Crazy series by Tara Janzen is one.  I read Evanovich and JD Robb like 6-10 books really close together and really enjoyed reading the series together like that.  Yes... I am a rereader... though I have a lot the the TBR Mountain to keep me busy.

Actually I called the www.Dreamsbynight.com site because of an order and she happened to be in the room and her husband put her on.  It was fabulous.  I do hope she stops by

This was gone into at great length last year.  We are firmly convinced that the artists have NEVER read the books and the authors are not allowed to see them prior to printing.  I just read the Garrisons series.  Emelio Jeffries was Cuban... not on the cover.  Adam had dark hair curling around his neck... not on that cover.  Brandon was a successful lawyer dressed in Armani - the cover had him in yellow checks. They have wrong hair color and length, wrong eye color, and for the most part do not fit the desciptions in the books.   Your peeve is duly noted and added to the list.

I have been getting the pics in from your instructions (thank you) and all of a sudden they don't show up in the Book Challenge link.   They used to.  You can see them when you open the link but not on the outside. NOW what am I doing wrong?

I went to one in Denver ..... I would say somewhere around 2001 or there abouts.  It was wonderful. He is gorgeous and accomadating.  We talked for several minutes when he signed my magazine which I have no clue where that is right now.  It was when the series was in full swing.

I am really surprised nobody mentioned Roarke. I probably don't even have to say In Death series. He is gorgeous, sensitive, caring, would kill in a minute to protect Eve, he is thoughtful - he buys her clothes, eases her way when he can, works with her when she lets him and is wicked hot in bed. My hero.

Adrian Paul - The HighlandIander - I have met him also at a Convention - He is more gorgeous in person and sensitive and caring and protective in the show.

Also have to agree about Seley - David Boreanaz - in Bones who was also Angel in both Buffy and in the Angel spin off.

The pic of Colby is really hot. I love him and Rob Morrow's characters but also Charlie.... he is not good at people but he tries. Another great atribute of any hero... HE TRIES ! ! !

I hated Joseph in Moonlight but love Moonlights hero Alex O'Loughlin as Mick St. John. He is not your normal vamp. He cares about the reporter and his friends and is not into just sucking blood from humans I just read Mia Zachary's Another Side of Midnight and Cameron Stone was a hunk of burning love - he left her and didn't show up for 2 1/2 months and knew that she was the ONE. He spends the book doing what he has to do but trying to win her back... I guess I like the part of a hero that wants to treat his lady right, is sensitive to her needs and at least tries... so many guys just don't try.

I wanted an identity of some kind. I had no pic at all last challenge. I tried several times to get one to take and got and email with this fairy. I put it in Paint and changed the background color which was really dark and Vwalal... I have a pic. A pic of me would have broken the server.

Vivi - great tattoos on your guy..he looks yummy.. I loved Moonlight too. Susan - I love your mouse sitting on the books.... my sister and I went to Blarney castle.... I couldn't climb the stairs but she did.

Ellejay - I love your graphics.... they sparkle with life. BookWyvern - I love dragons too and yours is wonderful Beonlyone - I have a site with Adrian Paul and some pics but it was created 10 years ago and is sadly out of date and I can't fix it anymore - changed email addy & forgot password and they won't allow me in.... I went to a Highlander Convention in Denver and he looks better in person doesn't he

Kelly - how did you and Deb create the ones with your names in them .... really great

Christa - looks like a pensive blonde with a red ribbon to me not a saloon

katherineT - I love your avatar it is really great

I go to Costco and get the trays they stack the pretzels on because the sides are reinforced. They are approx 2' by 3' and hold roughly 40-50 books. Using trays allows each title to be read. They stack well but are not that sturdy and there is a bit of weight so the bottom tray tend to bulge out at the sides. They were not in any order up til now. Currently I cataloged all the TBR and have gotten into the trays. There were a lot of unread books and some totally wonderful books there I hope to get to read.... someday. The current count is 1696 and I have 2 partial bookcases and approx 30 smaller trays of older books to go. I know many have been read because I only found 3 In Death books and I know I have all of them. Some were given to me when a friend moved so some of them I know I would never have bought. As for the kids room..... it is really small and I would love to use it better but it still has her furniture and old books & toys in it and she comes home every month or so. I use her bed as a staging area for laundry but when she comes home for the weekend, it quickly gets dispersed. I did however just order 2 bookcases from Office Max - On Sale - delivered at no charge. I am waiting for them to get here. (I know where one will fit nicely but the other .... still working on that.
