I just finished my wip so this is first draft, but I have that post-end relief that almost makes you want to have a cigarette, you know?  Except i don't smoke.  LOL

It's longish but only because it's pretty much all dialogue.

Dante tried not to think of Gina in a swimsuit.  Hers would be something unbearably chic, probably two pieces, and her long legs…

He cut into his meatloaf.

“My papa didn’t like swimming.”

He looked up.  Marcello had started shaping his potato puree into an odd-shaped mound.  “No?”

“No.  He liked his boat.  It was a big boat.”

“I bet that was fun.”

Marcello looked up.  “I saw it in a picture.”

Dante blinked.  “Oh.”

“My papa drowned, did you know?”

my girls watched it over and over and drove our host nuts I think!  But it had so many funny moments.  Carell as the straight man/funny man is so good.  And John Goodman can be so sinister, which is unexpected.
