- I'd give it a try....05/10/2008 - 22:49
It sounds weird but heck I'll give almost anything a try once. I usually send pictures for mother's day, dd's b-day is in April and the school's do a spring photo thing now, so I have new ones to send. This year I upped it by sending my mom and mil a 1gb datastick full of pictures and videos of the kids taken over the past year. I figured they'd both enjoy it since this assignment has us so far away.

These are kewl. Since harl doesn't have one for the book I'm reading right now I used the widget from shelfari for it. Of course now I gotta keep it up to date lol.

That hasn't happened yet, but I have gotten headaches from overdoing it. It's why I'm a slow stitcher, my eyes and hands can only take so much at a time. No I didn't make the pattern, I bought it from the cross stitch site www.heavenandearthdesigns.com They make patterns from a huge number of artists, most of them fantasy based.

LOL Avon lady. I always pronounced it with a short a, a-von-lee.
I wonder if I still have my set somewhere.....it'd be nice to revisit with Anne.

I remember this film. I found it interesting but also questioned how accurate it was. I'm not British but I agree with your thought on the distant protocol, it just feels more royal somehow. I could also see some of my grandmother's values in her as well. Funny, how they are the ones we alyways assumed came with her to the US. What this film did the most was make me curious about the queen herself. I've been researching her, off and on since. She is a very intriqueing lady.
I couldn't watch Rome either, it was just to much sex and blood and to little plot.

All IDW's website (www.idwpublishing.com) says is #1 will be released in February 2008. My advice is give your local comic book store a call. They'll know local delivery times best and can probably hold a copy for you. I've called all 3 comic stores up here and it looks like mid to end of February.
Now SciFiChick.com has a review up which has more artwork. No it's not a magna it's a a graphic novel. http://scifichick.com/2008/01/14/rogue-angel-teller-of-tall-tales-1/ If you click on interviews off to the right of the screen there's an interview with the Barbara Kessel from that I was able to glean that the issues will be released monthly. Which backs up Things from Another World pre-order schedule for #2 & #3.

I'm going to assume they're not magna based on the publisher. Here's the link to IDW's page for the comic. http://www.idwpublishing.com/titles/rogue_angel.shtml
The roughs look like comic art to me.

You get to see so much more if you come up here in the summer time, there's only 5 hours of night in Anchorage. This being my first winter up here, I haven't ventured to far from the house or base. But it's very beautiful and the kids are getting a great experience out of it. I've got some cool pics up on my myspace page, and this spring I've got two pages worth of adventures written down to do. So I'll be taking plenty more. A moose ran down the center of the street yesterday but my camera was upstairs. Oh well, maybe next time.
I write under the pen name Elena Croft and my book is call Wet and Wild: Three of Hearts. It's about a woman looking for her lifemate, oh and she's a werebeaver. It's available on fictionwise. It's part of a series I did with Aline and Jennie (piper), who are around the eharl site somewhere.
Yes I am very proud of him, as well as his father and grandfather. Our son already says he's going to be join the military and he's only eight. We'll have to wait and see. They've all done so much it's inspiring.
