Recognition is also by the feel of their hands or their own unique smell that could make them stand out all on their own. When blindfolded, all of your other senses kick into a higher gear and that is where you would feel the recognition the most.
- 02/05/2008 - 13:56Mine, when I first told him about my writing a book, his first reaction was "Before I had to deal with competing with the guys in the books you read, NOW I have to compete with your imagination!?!" He still supports me though, but will always try to tease me about my passion for reading. I don't think he will ever seem to understand it.
- 02/05/2008 - 12:45Right now it is a contemporary romance. Depending on how creative I want to get, I could write it geared towards Special Edition or Spice. I'm still debating on which way to go. I know my family will support me, but if I write geared towards Spice I will have to write under a different pen name. I know my mom, both Grandma's and my Great Grandmother love to read and would read my book in support, but they would completely flip if I geared it toward Spice. It just isn't their style and it may cause some issues. So right now I am still debating.

I recently started writing my book and so far things are going good. The whole idea and the story line just came to me and hasn't seemed to leave my mind, which is a good thing. The most clear so far is the beginning and middle. The end is a little fuzzy right now, so I'm trying to keep my outline brief yet as detailed as possible so that it will eventually become clear with me. I know that if I put too much detail it will just make it worse for me right now and I know I'm going to be a little nuts until I get the ending more clear in my mind. argh
Oh well I guess, all I can do now is keep my mind open to the possibilities for it to come.Congrats though on finishing your book! Keep us updated for when you are published!!
- 02/05/2008 - 01:31Most book Publishers sell ebooks directly off of their websites. For me personally, for the Kindle you have to purchase your books off of the Kindle website. But when I first looked at getting an ebook reader, I first tried to see where I could get the books and what formats they came in so that I knew what kind of reader to get.

There is just so much out there that you really do have to choose what is right for you, and the more you know the better informed your decision will be. I'm glad I was able to start this discussion

- 01/18/2008 - 12:06I purchased those three bundles last night, and now I am considering four others. Thankfully I got onto the Bombshell mailing list in time for the whole Madonna Series. I loved it!! I think I was on the mailing list for 16 months before it was discontinued. I'm also still waiting to see if there will be another book in the Pink Series. There has to be at least one more book because I loved that series and there was really no sense of finality to it in the last book. Well, you never know what will pop up.

I got in too late to get these, and there were two Athena Force Bundles (those are the ones 60% off) and the Sisters of the Ark Trilogy that I found. I also found four other bundles that I am considering but haven't bought yet. Oh my was I excited!!!
