- yeah I noticed this is05/16/2008 - 11:13yeah I noticed this is another one rquiring concentration to follow and it copied weird on to my MP3 player so it won't let me rewind. So I've had to go back to my previous book mark a ime or two and go fromt here to refresh my memory on what's happening.
- 05/15/2008 - 11:16sounds like we're all on a time crunch presently and slow going on the reading. I intended to d more today but I just got back to the office after being gone a few days so I've got a lot of catch up to do and haven't pulled out the MP3 Playrr yet. Or rather, I pulled it out but haven't turned it on yet. :-)
- 05/13/2008 - 23:18I think it's slow going for everyone right now. I started it, but I'm on the road this week and haven't had much time to listen to my audio of it. So I've not gotten much farther than I was a week ago.

I posted the flyer you made yup on all three of my blogs Jayne. I may add it to Kwips when we do the update this week. I've also forwarded the flyer on to every single one of my yahoo book groups that allows any kind of promo type post. I've gotten a couple nibbles with folks asking questions so I'm trying!
Well I'm glad to know I'm well over my required 38 books to contribute for the year. :-) Just added books 60 and 61 tonight.
- 05/08/2008 - 17:29can you e-mail me the paper you were handing out last week at book club? I'm trying to talk people in some of my Yahoo Groups to join (have been since January) but haven't had any luck. But if you would be willing to share that with me, maybe I can use that. And I can post it on my blogs all over the place in hopes of recruiting more people too.

I've not exploded eggs before though my mom has. She was making hard boiled aggs and forgot al abotu them until they exploded all over her ceiling. I did almost explode some less thana year ago though. I was making some and forgot aboutthem. When i finally remembered, the water was all cooked up. Had it been a little longer and I'd have had exploded eggs too I'm sure.
I melted a microwave safe rubbermaid container in teh microwave this week though. i was making one of those rice a roni type side dishes and it said you could make it in the microwave. so I decided to try it that way since I was in a hurry. When I went to pull out the dish for something, the rice was burned into a clump. I thought it was stuck to the butter or something. Nope As I'm holding the dish, I started feeling this burning on my feet. Looked down and the rice had brned a hole in the bottom of the container and was falling out one or two grains at a time all over my flip flops and fet. That hurt! That's when realized the rice clump was actualy a piece of plastic from the botom of the container that all the rice was stuck too!

I'm a couple hours into part 1 now. Quite interesting how it's all happening. SOmehow though Im issed the transition from present day to the past and I was quite confused when we changed time periods until I realized what had happened. Not sure if it's becasue the transition wasn't clearly delineated or if it's becasue I was at work so I know I miss bits and pieces here and there while I'm working.
I am definitely interested in finding out why Alais' father is so concerned about the dead body in the river. There's an obvious connection threre so I look forward to seeing where that will go.

Merri - we'll be reading Labyrinth all month long or until we finish. But I expect we'll be finished by the end of the month. We were last time, with me being the one to take the longest.
Deb - yay that you're joining us! I set up this blog entry so we can all talk about the book in the same place and not have to look for everyone's thoughts on it. So comment away as you work through the book.
- 04/30/2008 - 22:53glad I was able to remind you then. :-)
