Thanks Holly! I was really looking forward to reading their stories. :-) Looking forward to what ever you come up with next though.

Are there really any big no-no's for conflicts? For example, I've heard we should not have a character's issues stem out of problems based on their relationship with their parents. Is this something we should stay away from?
Thanks,
Cole
Edited later - This question is with regard to the Presents line. :-)

Too funny, I got over here and started writing and then helped my youngest get set up for painting, finished writing my question and whala...you'd written basically the same question I did! :-) too funny.

- 02/19/2009 - 10:17This was an interesting question to me. And as the other commentators before me mentioned, I stopped and thought about it. But in the end my first instinctive response was still the same--No, I've never bought a book based on the blurb recommendations. I've certainly read them afterward. I actually don't like to read them until after I've read the book though. I like going into the book without preconceived ideas of what the experience is going to be like. The few times I have read them before reading the book but after its been already purchased I found that my word choices or thoughts differ from the recommendations. I liked the book but those words hung in the back of my mind and I unconsciously waited for a fulfillment that never came.

Sorry Donna, didn't mean to add to your list of things to do. Was thinking maybe someone else might be in charge over there--If so I'd be happy to contact them with the idea to see if they're interested so you don't need to worry about it?
I am definitely looking forward to the upcoming posts. :-) Back reading has been interesting too! :-)
Hope your day is going well.
