I used to do that with lemons. I still it the wedges served with water, but I prefer grapefruit peeled and eaten better now though. Mom used to worry about the enamel on the teeth, but the dentist told her I was fine. I still have the best teeth in the family (so lucky) to include the 20 something neice and nephew.
Good luck on the writing.

- 08/17/2008 - 17:25I am on my way into the kitchen now to get dinner going and it is ....yes....zucchini. My girlfried's dad is loading her up and her family is sick of it, so she brought a bunch to a meeting last week. Now I get fresh zuchini. My youngest dog things that anything planted in the yard is his to eat, so we finally gave up. Thank heavens for friends with non vege eating dogs!
- 08/13/2008 - 17:01I wrote you a longer thank you at my review, but can't wait to try this out....
- 08/05/2008 - 17:44Merri, I truely feel for you, Glenn and Dante. We have suffered through some bad vets in various military moves to the point that if the dog needed care that we could delay, we drove back to our vet in Albuquerque. We did it from both Cincinnati and San Francisco. We had the worst experiences ever in Cincy and changed vets half a dozen times widening our travel distance to find good, caring vets. It is so important especially since our four legged babies can't talk. I hope everything works out for Dante soon!

I bought because people / friends would visit and ask to borrow mine. I would then have to borrow one for them to use. If humans were meant to iron, there would not be dry cleaning establishments every couple of blocks. I discovered things in the grocery laundry aisle like "wrinkle free". I use that when I forget to take the clothes out of the dryer and the permanent press becomes permanent wrinkle. It gets the big stuff out and it smells good - what a plus.
I remember going to my grandmother's house as a kid and having to iron the "real" linen sheets before putting them on the bed. I quickly discovered you could just do the top portions cause the rest is hidden by the blanket etc.....
- 08/04/2008 - 17:08Congrats on the RWA. I know I love your stories! Cool on the Nova Scotia Duck TOller. I have only met one and she was a sweetheart. Will you all be hunting her or just making a pet of her?
- 07/23/2008 - 18:21I was dwelling on this very issue this morning on the way in to my office (in my house). I keep my tbr in harlequin boxes. I now have over 160 books sitting in boxes on my dresser. I started the year with about 35 +/- and promised myself I would keep it to a manageable number. I have failed miserably
My work had been slow for awhile (real estate appraiser), so I was getting lots of reading done. Now all of a sudden, I am overwhelm with work - good for the coffers - bad for the tbr. To make a long tbr tale shorter, I have now promised to read only before and after normal work hours and just grab the book on top instead of thinking about genre or my mood. It may not get the pile under control any sooner, but I hope to reward myself with reading indulgent weekends!
- 07/10/2008 - 16:05I recently started reading these too. Had always avoided them, then heard some really good recommendations, now I buy them all. I really enjoy Amy Andrews. Recently picked up and read Olivia Gares first book Doctors on the Frontline WOW!
