Hi Dab1 - thanks - I have found that site, and gotten some books, and you're right - the people there are so nice. I think I've hit a lull though - and of course I want to give others a chance.

I've read a lot of Diana Palmer books I don't own through interlibrary loan books - from all over the country - but there are about 12 I've never read, and don't know if I ever will, sadly. (I only discovered Diana Palmer about a year ago.)

I recently discovered Heidi Betts  - absolutely love her. [I think I'm heavily biased towards Desires authors - I don't know why but most/all my favorites are write for the Desire line (and others)!]

As usual... what I want, what I really really want... is to see Diana Palmer's books republished. And I *REALLY DO* want that. I'm sitting here wondering if I should place an order for used Diana Palmer books right now [but shipping is more than the cost of the books!]

I've also spent about $30+ today buying old Diana Palmer books. I know some are being re-released [and there are 3? new Diana Palmer books coming out before the end of 2008] -- but it's hard to know which ones.

I'd love to buy them from the harlequin site. And I know there are a lot of people trying to get her back list - some of her old books are selling for $60-$90+ (and yes, that's each)!! Yikes.

Tongue out So that's what I want.

Can you believe in the time it took me to read the second page I forgot what author I wanted? *laughs*

I know her backlist is not that long, but I'd love to see some of Emilie Rose's older books. I'd also mentioned Lori Foster and Nancy Warren... oh! And Leanne Banks too.

As to the Diana Palmer... I think it's the determination/addiction to finish something. I still wonder what twist of fate made me choose her as the author to kick off my 2007 reading challenge.

I know, I can't believe it either. Aliquis isn't talking about Diana Palmer? Really? (Oh wait- I guess I just mentioned her Wink).

I'm sure I'll come up with lots more, but I'd like seeing some of Lori Foster and/or Nancy Warren's really old harlequin books republished.

    Hi Lorie,

(I hope I remember to check this for answers!) I have a "what's coming" question. I've noticed a few re-releases by Diana Palmer, and I was wondering if there would be any way to find out what other ones would be coming. I'm thinking about buying books second hand, but I'd much prefer to buy them new/from eharlequin if possible. So - I was just wondering if there would be any way of knowig that/if the information is available.

Thanks for your help and have a great day!

    Hi Lorie,

I thought I'd posted here, but I guess not. I'd love love love love love to see all of Diana Palmers books -and her "alter egos." (Unfortunately, I am really not fond of ebooks at all. Ironic, considering I'm one of those tech infants/generation kids.) I'm trying to get all of DP's books (in print) - what a lost cause, right? I looked for the "Long, Tall, Texans II" anthology, and saw someone selling it for over $200! (The rest weren't that much - but still unreasonably priced.) No thank you!

Innocent I think there'd be a market for Diana Palmer's books - considering her book traders board- they're sharks there!

Lorie- as always... you're the best! Laughing

Hi Lorie - I didn't think so, but it doesn't hurt to ask right? Wink

I've also been having trouble with the ebook code - but my problem was it wouldn't even work the first time, and I can't remember what book I wanted. But,  I guess its something of a good thing because I'm saving money now... Money mouth

    Margie,

Thanks for telling me about that - I didn't know about Katherine's blog entry. However, that wasn't what I was asking for. I know how to see if there are new comments -and I know all the things she posted ... Embarassed I guess I'm just lazy, because I'd like to see if there are any new comments on my blog from only the "font page" - as it was last year - you could immediately tell if there were new comments. (And in fact, see the previous comments.) Now, I just open new windows, but I was trying to find a way to shortcut all that. I appreciate your response though!

I don't know if I'm doing this wrong (I don't think so) - but when I go to my blog, I have to click around before I can see if there are any new comments. Is there any way to make it so "alerts" appear on the "main page" for a blog?

Next - we get the discount on ebooks as well, right? I tried to use it on an ebook, but no discount appeared. I'm having such terrible luck with buying books. First my missing order and no response, then this. Tongue out But I won't let that stop me - I'm still determined to buy books! Haha, help please!
