Powells IS rather overwhelming.  I just started giggling when I walked through the door to the orange room.... people probably thought i was nuts.

And when my boyfriend found out that there was a whole different store for technical books.... a WHOLE section for gaming physics programming books.... he went a little crazy too... poor dear!

Hey Catie,  I was in Portland last weekend and I visited Powells City of Books (biggest damn bookstore I've ever been in) and they had a huge section of your books including 8 copies of House of Cards.

I went back the next day since I decided I MUST have a token of some kind of such a large bookstore, and noticed that every single copy of HoC was gone.

Just thought you might like to know that the book is doing well!

Oh, and my Ma and I love the series... can't wait for the next one!  (and the next Jo!)

I think that I have your LJ linked, and I think that I love it for it's marvel icons.  Unless for some reason I've managed to confuse you with someone else, which is more than possible.

I loved this book, as you already know, and can't wait for the rest of the series.... but I do miss Jo.  May-ish 2009 is a long way off.

Amazon just blitzed me with three emails about the Queen's Bastard over the weekend, so I figured I"d let you know!  I don't preorder from Amazon since my BN always has your books out a few days early (and thank goodness for that) so I'll get it there, but I thought you might be interested to know that anyone who favorably rated your other books probably got a few emails about your newest one.

Fire Study is a great book, it's totally worth the wait!

Wow!  That's so exciting!  Your teasers are awsome, I love this new series (not that I didn't love the other one!)

Do you know how wide a release the comic is going to be?  I have a pretty good local comic store, but it's still small.  Should I expect to order it online or do you think it will be pretty widely available?
