I now have a neon pink cast. It's on for 1week, then I'll be out of the cast, in a boot and I'll be able to put weight on it. One week. I can't believe it. I ended up with some awful pain burn thing happening tonight on the bottom of my foot when I got home. Ugh. My mom came over and helped me. YAY mom!

I started my new YA. She sees dead people. It's fun. And I got another partial request from an agent on my WF. YAY!

Congrats on the puppies, Kathleen. That was fast!

I started physical therapy today. Good news: The therapist said in six weeks I should feel like myself again. YAY!  Bad news: Six weeks is two weeks AFTER school starts and two weeks after I move DD to her university. :-(  It'll work out somehow.

Ankle news: It started itching today. I heard that means it's starting to heal. YAY! I pulled a muscle yesterday trying to get up without help and have paid a HUGE price for the last 24 hours. Ugh. I promised everyone in the family I'll be asking for help from now on.  :-)

I learned I don't do wellon high-powered medication. Three days in I HAD a HORRIBLE day. The medicine made me crazy. Saturday I took advil and stayed in bed all day. Today I'm taking a low-dose pain killer 1 every 6 hours and I'm in the livingroom on an airmatress and I fell MUCH better. My brain is normal.  The one good thing about this is all the books I'm getting to read! I hope I get to write tomorrow.
