Ok, so I'm no Brahm Stoker, but honestly I am a very conservative person and I would not be offended.  I'm really having a hard time calling myself "conservative" after the books I've been reading (and even enjoyingTongue out) lately.  Not to mention my scenes entered here that Vince so nicely pointed out seem to feature nude people.  Where are my morals??  What is happening to me?  Can one truly ever rise above the glamour of the gutter????

By the way, what's going on with nearly 100 posts here today????  Get to writing people!

Congrats to the winners, and all of those willing and able to get out of the box!!!

I didn't have the time...sigh....and I probably won't this round either, BUT I am starting the desire. I am enjoying "listening" to the conversation around the how I write....I'm learning bunches!

Ok, I don't have time to read entries now, but I couldn't help but notice Tinky Winky, Dipsy, and Po!!!!!  LOL!!!!!

You must have small children!  Or had small children the same time I had small children!

I haven't actually counted how many school days there are in our year here.  I keep counting days left until the next deadline whooshes by me!  Ya know the saying, "I love the sound they make as they go whooshing by me."  Finding it hard to keep the whooshing down to a minimum, and yet I am here, typing!

Well, my name comes from my heart and my occupation.  My heart lies in counseling/social work/troubled youth and my occupation is a teacher.  While I most definately do TEACH my goal at school everyday is to positively REACH, or influence, some student who needs it.  Do to all those deadlines, I'm not doing such a great job of reaching right now.

I love reading where all our names came from though!

Vince~  I wanted to tell you how much your comment about "That's How the Cookie Crumbles" made my day!  Ok, so maybe it made my week, possibly year, but anyway, THANKS!!!!

Here is the link to our new board since this one reached it's limit!

    Writer2be~

Do I think you're crazy?  NO!!!!!  I don't think I'm actually "ready" or "there" yet, but I'll never know until I try!

I have learned a lot through the few challenges I've done here.  I'm gaining (I think) skills and ability every time I put my writing out there for others to see.

I'm surprised by the fact that I can see improvement in my own writing.  I suppose that when you reach "adulthood" and have multiple college degrees you just think you're as good as you're going to get.

It's nice to know that even a not so old dog can learn new tricks!!!!

I just happened to be looking for new posts while my  reading class was doing their silent reading, and wah-la!  The new page was there!

Ok, so maybe it wasn't EXACTLY like that...first I looked in the Challenge Rules, and then I looked in the Judging, and then I gave up and checked in between classes!!!!

I'm looking forward to reading these entries, also!  I'm starting a Desire ms for the pitch, so I'm not sure how much I'll get to play in the next few months, but I'll definitely follow along!!!  And, of course, if inspiration strikes I'll type one out!!!
