I'm going to start Buffy from the beginning (thank you Netflix), because my viewing was hit and miss.  I'd like to follow the series all the way through.

I got tired of Charmed after a few seasons and quit watching.  I haven't really gotten into this season of Medium for some reason, though I enjoyed it up until the writer's strike, and quit Ghost Whisperer after 2 seasons.  JLH just gets on my nerves for some reason I can't explain.

I outsmarted my postman.  I ordered Insurrection as an e-book.  So, I'll have 2 copies.  At least I don't have to wait to read it.  (gives the post office a one-fingered salute...)

You enticed me away from the Nocturne thread with the lure of those cards.  I'm still waiting on the errant postal service to deliver Scions #2 and beginning to salivate over Scions #3.  Can't wait!  I do hope Mira gets her own story sometime.  Talk about a wouned heroine who needs to find her soulmate!

You may pull my name at any time for some of your trading cards. Wink

OK, I'm shamefully behind on Supernatural. So much so, that I'm starting the series from the beginning, thanks to Netflix.  I jumped in somewhere in the middle of the first season, watched a few epis, then didn't see any more.  This was before we got our DVR.

And Moonlight.  I can't believe they would cancel it.  I love that show!  What are they thinking?  Mick is so sexy, and Josef is a hoot!  This, and Dexter, are the only shows my hubby and I make a point to watch together.  I hope there is some kind of campaign to keep it on the air!

Huge congrats for Lauren and Barbara!!!

Mandy, jealousy in advance?  I love it!  And I've had it, too.

Vivi, I can't wait to read Mahina's Storm!  September.  Too far away!

And where is my copy of Scions: Insurrection?  I ordered it, it's not here.  I can't read it if it's not here.  Don't they understand this?  What is taking the postman so long to deliver it?  He obviously doesn't realize the importance the package he is carrying.

everybody, for the congrats.  I'm so glad that Momma's home.  And she is too.

(((Michelle and baby)))  Poor thing.  I hope he's well soon.  Good that he's sleeping better.  You both need some rest.

Christyne, you know you'll see the pics.  I'll need some help choosing one or ten.  Have fun with the reunion and the horseback riding!

(((hugs))) to everybody, 'cause I just feel like it! Laughing

Oh, yes.  I get very cranky when my writing time is gobbled up by the busy monster.  I mean, like hubby shoving me in my office and closing the door with order for everyone to leave me alone, mommy's writing, cranky.  (someone build an emoticon for that one! Wink)  It's not a pretty sight.

Linda, I haven't thought about a simulator car at the house.  But I do have crayons in the shower.  And everyone knows not to mess with mom's writing on the wall!  Even if they can't read it or make sense of the diagrams, I can.  Inspiration always happens in the shower.

Right now, my timer's running and I have other boards to visit in the eleven and a half minutes I have before I have to go clean the kitchen, so--

    later,

I know you were ready to see your Fecklet again.  It's hard to be away from them for that long, isn't it?

There's been so much going on.  Did I tell y'all that Momma got to come home yesterday?  She still has a long road to recovery ahead of her, but she talked them into home health and will do the rest of her recuperating from her own home (as long as nothing else unexpected crops up).  You can hear how her spirits are lifted in her voice!

You have just frightened me, and made me thankful for our "lower" gas prices.

Barbara, how exciting for you!!  I can't wait to read it!  Do let us know when you have all the details sorted!

I have spent the day in Memphis and I'm exhausted.  DD had an appointment with her doc at 1:15 so I arranged an appt. with my friend the photographer for the morning.  I had publicity photos made.  Ok, so the cart's before the horse here, but we had fun.  She took more than 200 pictures, inside and out, formal and casual.  Now, I just need somewhere to use the darn things...

that I don't have to buy toothpaste!  (I "steal" it from work.  Toothbrushes too.)  But everything else costs so much more.  A trip to the grocery store nearly breaks the bank these days.  And my daughter thought that when prices go up like they have lately, we all get paid more.  cue maniacal laughter She was shocked when she learned that not only have her father and I not gotten raises, DH's company cut out overtime pay for salaried employees.  Goodbye to a quarter of his paycheck.  Ah, the naiveté of teenagers....

Nice to see you over here, Lou.   For a second, I thought I'd popped into the wrong thread.  Laughing

I'm just the opposite. I cannot work if the house is a mess. I have to keep up with the housework in order to get any words on the page, hence the housework breaks while I'm writing. I'm just weird that way.

And, I'm useless both early and late. So I do most of my writing between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Well, on a good day, I'm through by 4, when the kids get home, but good days are few and far between, lately.

But I'm lucky enough that I work only 1.5 days a week and both kids are in school. That makes a huge difference.
