I think these two will have a HEA, which wouldn't be likely if he was sabotaging their horses.  Sounds like a good story!

Was playing in reverse mode, why does it say it showed them stuffing her in, then the guy going around and getting into the passenger side?  I know, nit-picking again... great story, though!

If he was in on it, wouldn't he have told her that he would call for help?  (Or said that he  called on the radio?)  Then they would have had Kristen, and possibly been able to search the store without the real FD interfering...  Yet if he wasn't on the take, how did someone get to the storage room without anyone noticing?  And tomorrow is the Friday chapter!  Are we going to be left hanging?  Yell

Thank you for coming out to play with us!

The last few chapters have been pretty quiet, but I love the character development.  This chapter just felt so real, I could see and feel it!

The limp was in chapter 7, he blew out his knee playing college basketball...

I really thought that this chapter was going to leave us dangling...

But that is an awful heavy load to carry.  Maybe he needs to find that his parents and sister don't blame him?  I think he needs to talk to them about it before he can forgive himself... I doubt if counceling was even thought of back then, and rape was probably something that never got talked about.  I think that back then, rape was shrouded in shame and secrecy.

Sure it was... and probably meant to get us nice and relaxed before getting hit with a whammie of a cliff hanger tommorrow!

Awesome story, just wish Terri would come out and play with us.  I like it when the author's chime in and we get to see what they are like.

And it has no right answer.  Even if two people agree on everything, there is no guarantee of a HEA.  Each person in your senarios needs to know what sacrifices they are willing to make.  Your friend is wise to not push for children (IMHO).  Her DH not only could blame her for holding him back, but may also blame and resent the child.  Only she knows how much the sacrifice costs, and she appears willing to pay the price.  In the case of this story, Kristin is starting to realize that there is no guarantee of security, and she does feel safe when she is with Andy.  She may well be able to get past the fear that she feels and really enjoy her life.  I feel that true love is not about what we have in common, but about how we handle the differences and the compromises that we are willing to make.

She is way too much of a ditz and just annoys me.

What a twist!  So two-bit Charlie was dispensible, probably a weak link to shut up.  Way to leave us hanging!

What is in Kristin's past that makes security and stability so important?

If this was a book, my family would be feeling very neglected until I read the whole thing!  I'll have to see if the mini series is this good!  Might have to keep them for a winter read or I won't get anything done!
