Okay, I know I am going to miss people, but lets give it a shot.

Kathy - I am hoping for a buyer for your company.  Ouch, this has to be hurting everyone in your community.

Sandi - I thought AW was a bit slow to get into, then I really enjoyed it.  I think Deb thought that as well, so I hope you enjoy it more as you get into it.  Flights are insane, we are going out east this summer, the flights had been really expensive, then one day I saw them on sale and bought right away.

Cathie - I swear this is why I stop watching TV, every series that I enjoyed got cancelled.

Donna - Hope your computer is fixable.

Good luck on your finals Tiffany.

Dab - I looked at those MC books, but was hesitant because I had to commit to two books, what is your thoughts on them?

Margie - I hope they are able to fix your car easily.  We haven't had any warm weather, only a couple of 70 degree days.  I am totally ready for summer.

Finally finished my tough book - just didn't like the lead character - can't call her a heroine as she wasn't very heroic.  I am now reading The Angel by Carla Neggers, it is good and I am reading it much faster.  I am also listening to The SEcret of the Pink Carnation by Lauren Willig, it is a fun read.  The historical part hints at the Scarlet Pimpernel, which was one of my favorite books as a kid, so that keeps me interested.  Hope everyone has fun weekend plans, originally it was going to rain, so I was going to keep Luke in and push potty training, but now tomorrow morning is suppose to be beautfiul, so we may go to the zoo.

Hi Everyone, sorry I haven't been in for a while.  I have been reading, but with work and such, I just didn't feel like posting.  It sounds like everyone had a nice Mother's Day.

Melinda - Like you, we went out with Mike's mom on Saturday - just easier with the kids and truthfully as a Mom, I don't care which day we celebrate. We went to Joe's Stone Crab or Crab Shack - the food was good and it was really dead, so very easy with the kids.

Kathy - I am so sorry to hear about the mill.  We have been talking a lot about the dollar here and how that is affecting some of our manufacturers.  My husband was mentioning that it has really hit the canadian one's hard.  I hope you find a buyer soon.

Mary - Glad you had a good time with the Lauren.

Sandi - Hope you enjoy your Kindle.  We have gotten away from doing a lot of gifts.  On Sunday, we went to the mall and Mike bought books for the kids.  I was going to get some too, but by the time the kids picked theirs out, they were worn out.  I will likely just go get myself something later.

I am reading a book right now that is not really working for me.  The h is way too violent and sexual.  It is a fantasy, but by an author I have enjoyed in the past.  I am about 250 pages into it, so I am going to force myself to finish, but I don't know that I will read any more in this series.I am also listening to The Secret of the Pink Carnation by Lauren Willig, which I am enjoying immensely.

Hope everyone has a great Tuesday.

Lisa - I saw 27 dresses was coming out, it looks real cute.

Tiffany - I work in economic development and we talk alot about fields where we need people and IT is one of the big ones.  Good luck with your Masters.

Mary - Glad you had fun with your brother.

Margie - Hope you are able to find some time to get into Lethal Attraction.

Had an appointment to see if I was a candidate for Lasik, luckily, I went to a really good doctor, he told me a lot of doctors would do it, but because of some eye issues there was a 1 in 200 chance that I could get double vision.  He stated that he would do it if I really wanted it, but recommended against it.  After that big investigation about poor candidates getting Lasik and messing up their eyes I really appreciated him giving me the honest truth even though he ended up losing my business as a Lasik candidate.

Everything else seems to be going well.  My program for next week has over 100 people registered, which is great, except I have to speak in front of them.  Ugh.  Hope everyone is having a good Wednesday.

Just a quick pop in, as there were a ton of posts to go through.  Things are busy here, we had an estate sale for Mike's grandmother this weekend - they are hoping to put the house up for sale soon and then friends over yesterday.  Work is a bit busy as we are having a major outreach event next week, so I won't have a lot of time to pop in.  Hope everyone is having a great Monday.

Been an interesting week, I finally have someone who is going to come in to help out at the office - she will be in two days a week - 4 to 6 hours, but her computer didn't get here until about 15 minutes before she left for the second day.  Oh well, it will be here next week for her.

Lisa - I loved Deadly Deceptions and really find the Mojo books great reads.

Margie - Hope you enjoy Lethal Attraction, I like Diana Duncan, i just wish she would write more.

Melinda - i think kids have a radar for when you are trying to do something, that is of course when they want to talk to you.

Sandi - I understand the blahs, hope they go away soon.

Mary - No BD for me, so I can't make any recommendations.

I am currently reading Merline Lovelace's Mind Games, it is pretty good so far.  The weather is about to turn yucky so I may get a bit more reading in this weekend.

Melinda & Lisa - It cracks me up when Maggie dresses herself.  She is very into High School Musical - loved it before she even saw it by listening to the music on Radio Disney, so on Saturday, she dressed in pick pants, a short pink dance skirt, a pink shirt, her pink fairy wings and her dress-up shoes to go to the zoo.  Cracked us up.

Mary - Getting the new stuff or at least knowing it is in, would be my favorite part of working there.  We went on Saturday and we looking everywhere for a certain kids book and finally found it in the new section.  I always forget to look there.

Sandi - We were at the public museum which had a lot of cool things, but sometimes scary - a butterfly room with live butterflies, a lot of dinosaur exhibits, and several rooms were darker.  I hope Richard starts to get the learning curve down soon.

    Lisa - Happy Birhday.

Mary - I think it is cool you volunteer at the library.  As much as I use it, that would be a fun place to be.

Melinda - Our health department is really pushing vaccines as we are having a measles outbreak - about 10 cases so far, but they are scared there might be more coming.

    Lu - I don't read RA so I don't have any answers.

Things here are good, the haircuts went well.  Yesterday was gorgeous so we grilled outside and had a fun evening.  It is suppose to get cold again today, so I am glad we enjoyed it.  Didn't get any reading done, but will pick something up tonight.

    Hi Kate, how are things?

Hi Donna - glad to hear that your taxes are done.  My hubby always waits until the last minute, drives me crazy.  Since we ended up getting more back than we expected, I am going to see if I am a candidate for Lasik surgery.

Cathie - I have one crocus up in my yard.  The weather is warm, but so windy here, it is almost hard to enjoy it.

Lisa - Hope you have a nice day with Steve.

margie & Mary - the hardest part was some kids were scared either of the museum or just being away from the teacher.  I originally only had 4 girls, but another lady had two kids that just didn't want to walk around, so I ended up taking her other two.  So keeping all 6 together and not going the wrong way was sometimes challenging, but it was also a lot of fun.

Melinda - I swear the older shots are harder than the baby ones.  Three weeks after hers, Maggie told me she never wanted to go to the doctor's again.  Surprised

Jan - Congrats on finding the baby gear.

Read the last Marie Ferrerella book to her Doctors Pulaski series, it was good, but I would have liked an epilogue with everyone.  Today is haircut day, both kids are getting one, hopefully it goes well.  Hope everyone has a good Wednesday.

Congratulations Nada, what great news about Harry, i will keep him in my prayers.

Things have been a bit crazy here - was a chaperon for the 4k field trip yesterday - I had charge of 6 four year olds.  Oh my goodness, it was a challenge.  I always respected the teacher, but she gets even more credit after yesterday.  It was fun with the kids though.  Finally finished up our taxes yesterday and we are getting money back.  We thought we wouldn't, I am likely going to add some exemptions, I don't think I have been claiming the kids.  Read two Athena Force books, they were both good.  I am actually up on my challenge and have read more than I have bought this year.  Yeah.  Hope everyone has a good day.

Kate - Goodness, doesn't it feel good to finish up a series.  I love that feeling.

Tiffany - I just read that they were going to be doing more Nora movies on Lifetime and that High Noon is one of the possibilities.

Finished Diana Duncan's book, my only complaint is that she writes so slowly it could be close to a year before my next one.  I really enjoy her books.
