    Wow, guys, you have been busy!  I'm emerging from deadline hell to say hello-- the husband has been in China for a month (just got back) and between writing, working out and chasing three boys by myself I've barely had time to breathe let alone play on the computer.

     Lauren, sorry on the R's-- no fun at all. 

     

    Sarah, that sounds totally cool-- I would love to try it out.  Plus, once my book is finished in eight days--woohoo-- I can't wait to read Sam's Creed.  Gotta love the Hell's Eight.

     Sorry about the migraines, Lori.  My bf gets horrible ones and spends half her life overloaded on Starbucks in an effort to alleviate them.

    Portia and Lauren, thanks so much for the great advice.  I'm dying to get started on this book because I'm so interested in the psychology of the whole thing.  The BDSM is unfolding between my H/h who have serious control issues at the same time that a series of sexual deviant killings are happening in New Orleans.  My h is a cop (even though I swore I'd never write one) who isn't all that sure that her lover isn't the killer . . .

     

    Anyway, thanks for the book suggestions and advice.  A few friends and I are making a night of touring the sex shops this weekend.  I haven't been to one in a few years, so it should be fun . . .

    So glad you all had a fabulous time at RT.  Next year I'm definitely saving my pennies to go.

     

    So, how far do you ladies go in the name of research?   I'm about to go exploring the BDSM shops in my area as my newest H/h are all about it.  Originally I'd been flirting with just a little bondage, but my editor has taken the ball and run with it.  Now I'm suddenly exploring an entire counter-culture that I don't know much about-- I mean, beyond the basics.  It's kind of wild . . . And w
