    Hello Michelle.  Thank you.

Thanks Rae.  I just might do that.  Wink

Hi Joanne.  I definitely agree.   I've finished the first 2 books in Tori Phillips' Cavendish series and I'm now reading the 4th (I seem to have misplaced my copy of the third book in the series Embarassed) and I am really enjoying them.  I'm so glad I was able to find these books.

I've actually been lurking on this thread for a while now but I had to come out of hiding to comment on your comment about wanting snow Terri.  You are more than welcome to some of mine  Laughing.  I'm in Toronto and I know that we're spoiled as far as snow goes in Canada (in that we don't get anywhere near as much as everyone else) but I have to tell you, I have had more that enough of the white stuff for one year.  Smile

As for what I'm reading?  I'm about half way through Silent Knight, an old medieval HH by Tori Phillips.

    Happy belated birthday, Sam!

I'm glad it was a good one.

I'm another 13th baby (and I don't think 13 is unlucky either Wink).

    My birthday is December 13th.

Hi there.  One of the good things about this new site is I'm finding forums I never knew existed.  Smile

I'm Canadian too.  I'm in North York or Toronto depending on what form I'm filling out (I'm never sure where I'm from these days Wink).

    Happy belated birthday Donna.

I hope you enjoy it after going through all that.  Wink

I was right!  I think I'm starting to get the hang of this new site. Wink

Hi Katherine.  It's going well.  Laughing

Hi Merri.  I'm glad you were able to find a solution.

I might be wrong but I think the reason that your picture is not showing is due to the length of the first paragraph in your review.

If you go in to edit your review, click on "disable rich-text" and type <!--break--> after a couple of lines (like say after "Now Kane Healey is back!")

    See if that helps.

Oh! Hi Katherine. I guess we were both posting at the same time (I took a little while to post because I went back to get the code for the break) Smile

    Hi there.

OK. I know this kind of strange: a challenge idea from someone who didn't actually participate in any of the challenges last year. Embarassed

I'm actually the opposite of Merri. I don't like having "different things to think about" when I'm reading. For me, it's enough that I have to think about how I'm going to blog the book. Smile

What I think might be interesting though would be a challenge to read as many lines or genres as possible in a month. We all tend to get stuck in a rut sometimes when it comes to our reading choices and a challenge like that might just give us a push to expand our boundaries.

    Just a thought.
