- So sorry to hear about02/24/2008 - 12:36
So sorry to hear about Maggie Shayne. She did a workshop at my local RWA chapter a few years ago, and I thought she was a really nice lady.
lol, luz2write. I went through my cupboards this morning thinking I wouldn't mind mixing up a batch of muffins. But i didn't want to them from scratch, not from the pre-mixed package. Considering I've never done them from scratch, I'll bear your experience in mind. *g*
Back to edits.

And here I came tip-toeing in and was just about to say "yay! I finally go straight to the most recent posts instead of the first message in the thread", only it turns out that it's new room.
I was so far behind, that maybe it's a good thing. Cheers and Hugs all around as required.
MB, that's sad. When i was growing up, any teacher would get involved in any situation. I remember many times when a teacher would leave the room for one reason or the other and the noise level rose, and sure enough here came another teacher to tell us to pipe down!
I continue to work on edits this weekend. And it continues to be bone-chillingly cold here.
Hope everyone has a great day!

Wow, haven't been in here awile again. I skimmed past a bunch of stuff, but remember few.
Joyce - crap! Sorry about the pass. I remember having two different reactions to the h moving in with the H on two different readings. So I can understand the split in the judges opinion. As for the consensus that you are a good writer. You are.
Trish, I've seen some pics of the devastation in your area. Glad you're okay.
((Sarah)) Good to hear you're dealing with the post-baby blues.. Depression is horrid, and hard to shake, depending on how severe it is. Keeping busy and having lots of support with the little one helps.
I see the post steals are still happening. lol
Welcome newbies. I'll agree with Michelle, we're not necessarily close-knit (in the sense of excluding others) but we certainly are supportive!
I'm still mired in edits. 100 pages down, 285 to go.... ::whimper::. Also fiddle with images for the new website, and plan to read through an older paranormal partially finished novella I've printed out. I think it will be my next project since one of my writing buddies think I'm having problems with writing because of the infamous second book hump. We'll see.
Happy Sunday, everyone!

Buy the shoes!! Since when does being sensible have anything to do with a gal buying shoes!?!? *snap out of it!* [/Cher in Moonlighting imitation]
(((Cearha))) bummer on the job opportunity. But something even better is probably right away the corner.
Deedle, glad Moo is home. :-) Did you get him the Sonic games yet? *g*
I wrote a bit on my lunch today too, on the Quickpad. :-)

Thanks for letting us know, Anna! I was just over on Dee's blog to see if she'd posted there. I was going to send her an email.
HaPpY BiRtHdAy MiChELL S!!!

I had a nice long juicy post and now I don't know what i did to lose it. :-/ I'm nackered, so I can't even begin to fullyrecreate it. Here's the short form:
((Anna of sickies)) & Lovely descriptive post as usual. All Hail Anna's chef-erific hubster!
LoL at the speedos, Joyce. That beach sounds wonderful.
It was a toss up between the Aquos and Bravia for me too, but for various reason's I'm going with the Bravia (either this year or next).
I love driving on dry staight open road. I've got a bit of a lead foot.....
Shaz is at her post races again!
Biddy is bouncing!!
All Hail Julie and her superior Mac.
Trish my writing has been spotty at best over the last year. Dont sweat it.
EC take it easy. ((hugs))
I've always wanted to go to San Fran, but it won't be happening this year. :-/
Behold the bed of marshmellow cloudiness: http://vanessajaye.blogspot.com/2008/01/who-says-its-too-much.html
It's actually a little more fluffy now than in the after picture since I added the mattress pad/feather bed.
I'm hoping Julie is right and I do end up at the end of the comments string, rather on the first page again. :-/
And in anticipation of tomorrow...... TGIF!!!

Joyce I'm loving the Mexico Vacation stories. Keep'em coming. I think we're on the same wavelength... I'm looking to buy that exact tv configuration. One thing that jerk sales man did was give me a voucher to a by-invite-only one day sales event where *supposedly* prices are at/near wholesale. Well see. hrmph. My bed new bed isn't quite as plush as I remembered in the store, but I bought a feather bed/pad to lay on top of it and now it feels like I'm laying on a marshmellow cloud.
Earthchild. Stick to your guns with that loan mix up. A $2K shortfall is A Lot!!
We've had plenty-O-snow here also, Anna & Michelle,
Shaz, that was very sad news about Heath. When I first heard it, I thought it was some sort of publicity stunt related to his Joker role in the upcoming Batman movie. I'm still a bit stunned.
Sorry, folks, I'm drawing a blank now. :-/ ((hugs)) and ^5!! Dispersed as required.
