 Glad to see everyone else getting back into the writing groove. I've finally started writing more everyday, which is fabulous, but looks like I'll have to find someone to CP for me since mine is busy with rewrites ( in the best possible way!!! :) ). lol. Gotta get to writing now.

Good Heavens! I can't belive that we've been quiet here for more than two weeks. Did everyone disappear off the face of the planet? I hope not. I'd miss you guys!!!

 Okay, well first things first, has anyone been writing during this extended absence? I have, though it's only been a little, since I'm in the process of job interviewing, getting ready for summer classes, an out of this world stupid personal life, and trying to make it home July 1st when the average price per gallon of gas is hovering near $4! I can't believe it. Any of it :) lol. Especially the me having time to write part. That's insane.

 So, do we have any news on manuscripts being completed? I think I'm waiting for a few of you guys to send me some more stuff to crit :) *cough, cough, Amber, cough* Sally :). The stories I have from you guys are so good, I'm dying here not knowing what else is gonna happen? And I'm hoping that Amber's heard something about ATD or I'm gonna have to whip some publisher backside :).

 Okay, enough rambling for now. But I would like to hear back from you guys! Let me know you're breathing and writing (and not necessarily in that order! )

Just popping in to say Hi you guys :) the boyfriend is moving to start his PhD in Physical Therapy in GA over this weekend and will be gone for 3 years :( He's only 2.5 hours away but I don't graduate til December, so until then,  I guess I'm roadtripping it. Gotta spend Wed through next Monday getting him moved and settled, so that's my major Memorial Day plans. What about you guys?

Yay for everyone getting on and into their work :) Wish I could say the same, but I'm getting there.

 Major news--Did you guys hear about the 6 tornados that touched down in Suffolk, VA? Well that's where I grew up and where my parents live and work. They are ok, as was everyone involved, but it was super crazy. Nothing like this ever happens down that way, and I've seen some pretty B-A-D storms there! Well, it's been flippin' forever since I've been in here and although I could list the excuses for my absences on about two and a half pages of notebook space, I won't :). Instead I'll say hello to all and ask where everyone else is :). --Gotta keep the trend going, I suppose.

Life here has been insane lately and with the rising cost of gas (today's price $3.47  per gallon of unleaded), I've decided to look into investing in one of the following options (since I only live 2.9 miles from work)

a) a mountain bike

b) a scooter

c) (also known as the 'all else fails' option) a motorcycle

I'd love to hear anyone's opinions on any of the above, and would just plum love to hear from you guys!

Dee, I'm totally with you on flying. I'll drive the 11 hours (yes, 11 hours) from my apartment in Chattanooga, TN, to my parent's house on the east coast, near the Outer Banks of NC, way before I'll hop on a plane. The flying might cut off 9 hours or so, but I cry everytime I get on a plane because the pressure in my head feels like it's going to make it explode. And I've got vertigo too, which I'm sure doesn't help any. I flew out to Orange County, CA about 6 years ago and God help the people in my way from the plane to the bathroom. I think I ran a few toddlers over by accident. :).

So nationals are in San Francisco this year? I've never been but would love to go. What all happens at Nationals?

Seems like there was a coup, they way we're talking about how the power has been swapped and all :). It just comes down to the fact that I was way too busy and should have let them know. But he-ya I'll still be around here :). You guys are my first home, afterall.
