Will definitely keep that in mind, Guanna.  He's snoozling now but I might make him choke some down tomorrow if it looks necessary.  By feel, the swelling's gone down a tad since he had that 2nd dose a couple hours ago, and it's not as hot.  Keep fwappin...

The quack sez this swelling isn't allergy related, so I'm not worried that he'll go into anaphylactic shock. (He's had 24 hour Zyrtec in case tho.) The bite happened between 7:25 and 8am (time he left the apt until the skool nursence called me) so if he was gonna go into major allergic emergency mode, it would've already happened. He's already been quackeratted--I'll take chances with myself but not the Aimspawn--and this is just me not wanting him to have to get a shot tomorrow.  He hasn't annoyed me enuff to deserve one.

I marked the borders of the swelling with a pen and gave him his second dose of antibatotic. Here's hoping it takes effect as he sleeps. Keep fwappin!

VL's arm is continuing to swell even after starting the antibatotics. It's swollen from an inch above his elbow to an inch above his wrist, tight and red and HOT. Quack said he thought it shouldn't swell any more and if it did he has to go back tomorrow for a shot, witch prospect he's SO hexcited 'bout, so any fwaps for less of a Popeye arm would be depreciated. I's guano give him his second dose of antibatotic in a few minuets (it's a twice-daily antibatotic and I's squeezing 2 doses in even tho it's late in the day) and am not hoping it helps... oh, flock cavespeak, I am. I hate it when my babybat's sick!

I hate that movie.  Deeply, deeply hate it!  No cavespeak. Yet it appears I's living it.

Same shirt, different batling... today Vampling was the one at the skool nursence's office, needing to get quackeratted urgently.  He got bitten by sumthin and his right forearm looks sorta like this guy's.  Seriously, it's at least three times as big as his udder forearm, red and hot, too.  So off to the quack's we go!  Dunno what bit him, but now he's on antibatotics and it's still swelling so he might hafta go back tomorrow.  I hope not, though--each visit is $35 copay and that's getting hexpensive.

Yeah, like I won't go anyways.  Sigh.  Batlings is 'spensive.

Whinges, so sorry my song amused you.  Hope I never do it again.

In udder gnus, there is no udder gnus, 'cept that I's craving a cold soda and don't gots nun.  Waah.

It'd probably be nice if I'd gotten more than 3 hours of sleep.  Oh well.

Pickles sound really, really good. Stanks, Tinitis, for giving me a craving right before bed, especially since we don't gots no pickles. P~~~~~~~~!

And this makes me sad. Yes, sad. Who needs kleenex movies when youse outta chocorat? It's the tragedy to end all tragedies! *sniffle*

In udder gnus, I's guano eat some serial and go to bed, cuz I have a bad habit of eating right before sleeping. Can't seem to break it cuz I can't sleep if I's hungry. Can I go to sleep if it's loud?  Absolutely.  Can I sleep if I'm cold? Yep. Hot? Sure. In pain? No problem. Hungry? No flocking way. Not fair, but that's life.

Or is that One Bat Fibro? Neither way, I wreckomend this vitamin pack I boughted. It's really given me a lot more energy, all cavespeak aside. I've been lax about taking it for a couple weeks and I can definitely tell the difference... well, see above re: 4 hours snoozling on the couch... so I'm going to reorder and start taking it again on schedule like I'm 'sposed to. It's expensive, but I really think it was worth the money. Mebbe Dubya can buy you some, DisGracie.
