- Wow! Okay, I finally got back here to check out the story...07/21/2008 - 12:27
and Oh. My. Heavens!
Perfect Brenda, absolutely perfect as usual. And as soon as Watch Me arrives I'm off to read the books... I do so love having them published together like this.

Any of her older books would be fantastic because while I have a few of them, they're a minority. Her older contemporary titles are quite hard to come by. I also know she wrote scads of them... or at least a few.

'Cause I now have an eBookwise and as far as I can tell there's no way to transfer any of my eHarlequin ebooks or my Adobe ebooks over to it... unless of course someone knows the hows and wherebys; or even if there is such a thing. I'd LOVE to be able to read my ebooks using my reader ~ sure beats sitting at the computer for a couple hours or so. I don't have the much sitting in my so much anymore.
Help!

You and Ken are now grandparents... Oh my! How's that gonna be do you think? Is it any different just knowing that it was going to happen and actually being able to see the baby... Ooooh I miss babies!
And all the best to Chad, Crystal and Landan... so very exciting... and he's a big boy too.
Rest up good, 'cause I think you're going to need it.
Hugs all 'round....

Interesting, enthralling... wow! With only two chapters to go I'm really wondering just what is going to happen! I've got the first two books in Brenda's Last Stand series... I'm going to be getting to them ASAP... HOLY COW!! And, thankfully, the third will be out soon so I won't have to wait for months to get to the conclusion. Soooo many questions... not enough answers yet ~ and I'm very much "need answers" person.

Wow... exciting stuff, eh? My mom was in with me when my son was born... my poor husband was on a sales trip out of town... B@$t@rd$ that he worked for 24+ years ago..... (can you tell that I'm holding a *bit* of a grudge?) *sigh* Our first child and he wasn't there... although he nearly passed out when our next child was born... they had to make him sit down. Poor guy! LOL
But it was really, really nice for my mom to be with me... for both of us. Her first grandchild, actually Stephen was first on both sides... it was special.
So yeah, all the best and I'll be praying for you and Chad, Crystal and dgs!

Kathy, actually Stony Plain is about 35 minutes west of Edmonton... my husband has calls that he makes there once a week ~ at least.
LOL about the deliveries.... when they told me how big our son was I nearly had a heart attack! Surprised the heck out of me that he was so big... but, as my dh so fondly puts it, I have good child-bearing hips. *sigh* Good thing I didn't know before-hand how big Stephen was going to be!
Sandi, Brenda Novak writes Harlequin Superromances and the last eight, or is it nine?, have been set in a town called Dundee, ID. The characters are all from there, or move there so there's a real community going... and we get to see how older characters are doing in the newer books.... I really like the series ~ and characters.

I'll be back later when I have more sitdown time.
Right now I'm reading Angela Knight's Mercenaries... Woohee! Can you say H-O-T!? This is a whole new side to her... the first two stories were originally ebooks and, she says, not as confining to her imagination.
Yowza!

Brenda emailed me back and said that yes there are more Dundee stories coming out. She said that she's sold two to Harlequin and that they're *hoping* for a late 2009 release ~ mostly 'cause she's not got time to write them at this time what with her other books.
I'm so glad that we'll be seeing new stories and revisiting old friends. I may have to do a re-read though, before the new ones come out.

But then, being that Brenda's writing it that's no surprise.
I know that she's always been able to keep me guessing, not that I'm all the good, or even interested most of the time, in figuring out whodunit... but I do love the suspense!Lovin' this look into the series ~ I only my books arrive soon... very soon!
