Interest : My interests have expanded during the last year in participating in this blog. I am now reading further into an old love - Sci Fi/Fantasy. Reading is my primary interest. Still love Bombshell and mourn its demise. Blaze, Intrigue, HQN, Mira, and Desire are faves and Nocturne may be getting more interest this year as well as Romantic Suspense. Since getting a DVR this year I am finally getting to see all the shows I usually miss because I am working. I am a fan of all CSI, Bones, Criminal Minds, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Medium, Moonlight and several others. I love to play on the computer whether blogging or playing Backgammon (another addiction) or Spider Solitaire.

New thread for me and I started at the last page. KathyD you have my prayers that someone buys the company. Cobra is mandatory for 18 months and is based on what the company had for insurance so monthly charges vary. In NY they have a special insurance for kids which my brother found when his wife died. It helped a lot - low cost kid coverage. You should like You Can't Hide by Karen Rose book it is fab - bad birdies bad bad
Margie . every year I have to have the AC recharged. Old car and they have not found the leak no matter how much dye. Good luck.
Cady - I had the best baby sitter that did the potty training while I worked. The 'baby' BTW graduates from Columbia Univ Teachers College next with with her Masters. YEAH!
I'm disappointed in them killing Moonlight but like you say it may be picked up by one of the cable networks.
Currently I am reading Killing Fear by Allison Brennan which is going smoothly. I love this author and she has not failed me yet. I don't always know what I will be reading next til the book hits my hand.

I am having problems with these pages on this thread.... yesterday I could have sworn it said 7 and today there are only 4..... must be something in the coffee

When I click on the numbers either at the top or bottom of the page it does not bring me to the one I am clicking on. I feel like Alice in the Looking Glass..... weird. I was going to ask if the techies are any closer to getting the numbers at the top of the page under Book Challenge but I guess since they are not working here there are other problems.

Happy Easter everyone..... my computer is out getting fixed. I had it built by a friend and long story short I needed to get someone else to fix it... (usually I do it myself). I am way ahead on my eharl books so that is a plus.
You are doing a terrific job Lorie.... Just wanted you to know you are appreciated.

Did you perhaps get a chance to ask the techies about the pages being listed at the top of the BOOK CHALLENGE yet? I know you are busy... it is the new month. Just checking. Jeannie

- 02/22/2008 - 16:33up at the top of the page it says HOME MY PROFILE BLOGS FORUMS BOOK CHALLENGE I click on BOOK CHALLENGE and I see the reviews of everyone as they come up. If the pages available that show at the bottom 1 2 3 4 5 etc could also be at the top of the page it would be easier to travel thru. Also on this page if you had a button that said BACK TO TOP it would be convenient Jeannie
- 02/22/2008 - 09:46sorry about the whine.... we can't help how people enter their reviews so no more whines on that. I do however have a techie request. The page numbers 1 2 3 4 5 etc are at the bottom of the Book Challenge page. When you write a comment you either have to go back 3 or 4 pages or click on Book Challenge again and go all the way to the bottom to go to page 4 again or 5 again. Can the techies ALSO put the page sequence at the TOP of the Book Challenge page? It would save the server from having to do all those BACKs and you can get back to the page you were perusing easier. Just a thought Also, can they also look into adding a button at the bottom of posting or comment pages to go BACK TO TOP?? Jeannie
- 02/10/2008 - 20:18I realize you put the instructions in your email with the code Lori, but most are not complying. I feel like I'm surrounded by six year olds that are doing whatever they want. I went into one review that had 4 or so books in it and politely mentioned that to get counted they had to be separate.... sigh.... I miss the old blog and never thought I would say that. RE: the tree ... still not on home computer but I do see it on the work computer so it is obviously on my side. You can set the techies minds to rest. Jeannie
