Mind you we only have the Canada wide tax here of 5% on things, and do not have an extra provincial tax like the rest of the provinces have. So we are not that hard done by, but still it would be nice to have a tax free time for the parents having to buy school supplies, and such.

Ellen I hope that you stay safe, I just heard on the radio here that they are doing evacuations because of the storm. Hopefully your brother and family will be safe.

The sun is out at the moment. Yesterday, we had rolling thunder storms and rain and hail. It is not the thunder I dislike, it is the lightening!! This morning it is cold enough that the furnace is running and by 4:00 we will have to have the fans going because it will be so hot and muggy in the house. This is the craziest weather we are getting.

It is the pits that the toe is still giving you so much trouble, you would think that they could give you a cast that would ease the pain and not increase in.
How cool that you got to have the extra leg room on your flight home. Even though you have a lot of work to get done, I hope you are able to take it easy as well. (hugs)
