    I got your comment on the blog.  Somehow in pictures it doesn't look quite the same.  It feels bigger than it looks, if that makes sense.

    It's mid-July, Liz.  Thank God for air conditioning.  I've already lined up babysitting.  :-)

    I've never been to Washington OR conference before, so I'm pretty darned excited.  I think I'm rooming with Trish which THRILLS me because when we were in London I think we totally struck each other as people we could travel with.  We got lost in Richmond and had the best time!

    Ooooh Fi!  I'm going to DC next year.  It would be great if you could come!

    I am putting the finishing touches (aka the last chapter) on my WIP today and tomorrow.  Then it's on to a novella.  I hope to have a good start on it before my mum's wedding on the 2nd August.

    I haven't met Deb in person yet...this fall once things are settled i plan on joining the local RWA chapter, and I have chatted to Deb on e-mail several times.  She knows the area where I grew up quite well.  But I didn't know she was in Lower Sackville...that's 10 minutes from here!  LOL.  The next exit up the highway!

    So I'm in the same general area - between her and the airport.

    Barbara - we moved to Nova Scotia.  Dh got a transfer and promotion and off we went!  I will say the bigger house takes longer to clean...though today I've been cleaning AND unpacking a few boxes AND doing some laundry.  And the house was quite dirty...unpacking constantly has a way of doing that.

    I am going to put up some pictures tomorrow though on my blog!  I took some today of a few rooms, and the view from our room of the front yard.

    We had blueberry pancakes this morning - with blueberries the girls picked on our lot.

    Can I tell you how much I love my life right now?  Even if I am stiff and sore from gardening today????

    Carol you are too funny.  I'm drinking wine too.  But I'm tired all over as I spent many hours in the garden today and it was rough stuff, no genteel weeding and watering.  WE're talking chainsaws, gloves, and shovels.  But we whipped the yard into submission!

    And yay on the weight loss.  The dh and I were saying how stiff we were but also that it was good for us.  I know that the weight I've lost since moving here is due to moving furniture, yard work, and swims in the pool.  Oh yes and the "stop eating out" thing now that we are somewhat settled.

    But I haven't lost 6 kilos in 6 weeks.  More like 3.  But I'll take it.

    Au contraire, Biddy.  But I hear he's busy with the wife and three kids after wrapping up BSG.  :-)

    How are those revisions?

    Nell I saw BRH is out in paperback in December!  Guess what's going on my christmas wish list????  I have Anna of's book on my amazon wish list too, I just haven't put in an order for a while. 

    Off to write a stoopid synopsis.
