Geez. Texted folks more today than I've ever done afore. I've learned how to capitalize, and I found the punctuation by axident. Looking forward to me cellie phone bill with a great deal of enthusiasm. (While not laughing at Slosh's rendition of Californie Nightmaring.)...

So Aims calls, and starts to tell me what's going on. I listen. Then I say, "Gee, I'm in the waiting room at the walk-in clinic with TM, who spiked a 103.3 fever. I'll text the reekwest to Cearha." So I did.

Am severely pizzled Aimless didn't hafta spend multiple hours waiting to be seen, like I did... 2 hours, 45 minuets later, the cause of the fever is unknown.  It's a viral thang, like Tinitis' 2 y/o critterseseseses. TM is not in any kind of pain, lungs are clear, heart is beating, ears are clear, throat's clear, nose isn't dripping... He jest has a fever and I'm to keep him hydrated and motrined/tylenoled to keep the fever down. Oh yeah. He has no appetite, so I'm delighted to give him motrin on an empty tum-tum. Sigh.

Anyhoo... He's back on the couch looking pitiful.

Did I menshun I's squawkin' at the boyos' Career Day next Thursday. 'Bout bein a rioter.  Guano squeak in general terms 'bout rioting, because imagine all the phone calls the skool would get if I told 3rd-5th graders (8-11 y/o) how to riot paperbag scenes.

Well, carpadoodle. TM's home today, not feelin' so good. Started the moaning with a 100.3 fever, went up to 101.2, now, after his nap under a nice downfilled blankie, it's 103.3. He's out from under the covers, drinkin' some 7-Up. Guano take his temp again in about 20 minuets, and if it's not down, off we go to be quacked at.

We is home from shoe shopping. Din't go at all well. Stopped for mice cream @ Dairy Queen. TM's expression was priceless. "You mean, we get gnu shoes AND ice cream?" Yep. You betcha, kid. Then, walking out of the mall, there were my DK and TM walking ahead, shoe bags in one hand, milkshakes in the other, chatting as they walked along, and Mr. Stinkle following (I was carrying his bag. He got a sundae, and needed both hands to eat it.)... And I stunk, "That thar is what it's all about." Din't make me eyes leak AT ALL. Nope.
