I agree it is a shame that this series is not being sold on this side of the Atlantic. I have purchased the first nine books from Mills and Boon and will order the next two tomorrow. There is a 4 pound sterling shipping charge which is about 8 dollars but I order some other books at  the same time to make it more worthwhile.

I am still curious as to Nick's story, there seems to be a bit revealed in most of the books. The series is definitely worthwhile trying to get. The authors have done a really good job tieing the stories together.

Penn, you can try ordering the most recent books from the Mills and Boon website, Amazon.uk should have some left as well. The Canadian version of Amazon often is able to get the UK versions of a number of Mills and Boon books as well. Good luck.

I try to figure out the 4 of the 6 books published in the UK that will be coming to NA each month. The publishing schedule for the UK releases is relatively easy. Because in the UK the books are sold in stores commercial retailers like Amazon (UK version) have the publishing schedule up to several months in advance. Up to December when I last checked. (Advanced search - Medical Romance as title and Mills and Boon as Publisher, sort by release date and list only the paperback versions)

North American releases are more difficult but I use the upcoming release feature on the eHarlequin website and compare the lists and order the missing titles every 2 - 3 months. I get dinged for the UK postage from Mills and Boon which is quite reasonable. (4 UK pounds per shipment), so if I save up to order every couple of months it is reasonable and the conversion between the UK pound and the Canadian dollar is better than it has been in years.

I enjoy the books and to me that makes it worth it.

ps Do I ever get duplicates? Yes but surprisingly few

Could we have ebook versions of Medicals as well as the other series books Harlequin publishes? They were on the site for a short time early in the year for one month's worth of books but are no longer there and the other month's offerings are not there? Thanks Linda

The August Medicals seem to have disappeared from the eHarlequin site. I found them listed for sale at Amazon.com, so I expect they are still going to be published. Does anyone know what happened? Linda

Every province is a bit different because the legalities of licenses for MD's RN's NP's etc is controlled at a provincial level. Most provinces have NP's which have a RN, BN and a Masters degree. In my province they can work independently of physicians but most work in collabrative practices. They are able to order most tests, and prescribe most drugs except for some chemotherapeutic agents and narcotics. The only PA's I am aware of here are members of the Canadian Military and trained and credentialed by them. There is no civilian equivalent. Hope this answers your question about Canada. There are certainly NP's in remote areas like in the Northern Territories and parts of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Lynne wonders what everyone is up to. For me, tonight was my oldest child's, a daughter, graduation from high school. A very nice but long ceremony. Now she is off to an all night party in celebration. It is a safe grad organized by the school and run by the teachers. She is off to university in Ottawa this fall. A big change for our family. In the meanwhile we will enjoy the summer with her home.

Best of luck with your editor with your WIP Lynne.

    Cheers
