is incredible in concert - it's a brilliant night out. Years ago, and I do mean years ago, I used to hang out with the girls from Spandau and we'd see Duran Duran and Dexy's at the Rum Runner and Liberty's - two big and notorious clubs - now shut. All the footballers used to go and the people from Pebblemill TV studio. Happy days!

Can I organise a fly by attack on the orthotics dept at my local hospital? My littlest batling has been a patient there for 6 years, she gets seen every two years for review and in betweens I have to get her feets measured, buy expensive shoes, drop them off, they then cut the expensive shoes to bits and insert adaptations so my batling walks straight, can tackle stairs and generally not fall over all the time.

Today i go to drop off the shoes as her feets have growed and her old shoes has a hole in the bottom and they tells me their proceedures has changed. Now they want me to go back to my quack who knows nothing about her feet and get a referal, then they'll send her an appointment and then they'll see her and agree to do her shoes. Despite the fact that they've been seeing her for years and are due to book her in for August for review.

What's she supposed to do for shoes while they fanny about with all this? Who is responsible if she hurts herself in the meantime because she's wearing unadapted shoes, why wuzn't I told?

Grr, I'se set my battyfur on fire and emailed a complaint letter and I stink I'se going to the press.

It's really warm here and i don't want to do anything. I think it's going to be barbecue today as my kitchen is south facing and I refuse to have the oven on.
