Rae- (((HUGS))) on the R, hopefully the suggestions will help you out. I hope your hectic life settles down some for ya.

I'm in on the wine OR margaritas..:)

My SIL and her family are in from FL so we are going to my MIL to celebrate my nephews birthday and the 4th and to hope for no blown off fingers or such since my BIL supposedly has some fireworks.

Dogs and humping..yup, what convinced me to have my lhasa neutered ASAP. A friend (who advised me on the breed) highly recommended it since her first Lhasa, well that was his only 'trick'. Apparently no one was discriminated against.

My neighbors, are stalkerish in a kind of creepy way, not scary (yet) (although sometimes horrifying.. they really don't know the meaning of TMI sometimes)  I am hoping to make the best of those days but can't be responsible for what may come out of my mouth if I have a few of those margaritas... But OH the laxative brownies, that is TOOO, TOOO funny! I will SO have to consider that, lol.

Sam-love your blaze synopsis (though severely hate doing synopsis's of my own), lol. BIL is still dwelling on the thoughts of me writing 'steaminess', he made another comment last night. I think he is re-evaluating his 'image' of me, lol. You know, "professional business woman by day (then I tear off my conservative dress and reveal my leather get-up) porn-master-mind by evening"  lol

Susan how sad for your family! That is very upsetting about the friends, some friends! As Sam said, the tide is sure to turn for the better, I hope sooner rather than later for you.

Anna- come on over to PA! If you like rain that is, lol. Although today is supposed to be nice, perhaps the girls will finally have a coach pitch game. They had 2 for the month of June, the rest were cancelled due to rain.

My hair, is straight as a board. I grew up in the 80s and had perm after perm trying to get big hair, lol. I have always envied those with some thick waves, I guess the grass is always greener huh?

We go on vacation next Friday to Virginia Beach, I just found out today that our overbearing neighbors found out what hotel we are staying in and booked a room for part of the week. I am so upset about this. I am really trying to look on the bright side (help, Holly? lol) but have only found some 'bright cracks'. The rest I am just sooo irritated about. Geez, we drive six hours away and we still can't escape our neighbors!

Wow it was quiet here, I actually got caught up this morning in no time, lol.

Kay- I will have to go check out your blog, I have always wanted to get a facial, but never have yet. So I was curious as to what you thought of it.

Holly- hope the BF meeting went well. I can't imagine those days in my future. I am sure they will be there, luckily I have time to get adjusted.  Last night I just had to fend questions about breast feeding and boys wee wee's since my SIL and family were in visiting and another couple that has a three week old baby boy.

Just curious, for those of you pubbed, what kind of response do you get from people you meet and tell them you are a romance writer? My BIL and a friend were quesitoning me about my writing. When they asked what I liked to write when I mentioned romance they were all over the 'hot steamy scenes' I must write, lol. I am not a blaze writer, so they would be sadly dissapointed.  lol

Jeannie- I know it wasn't funny, but that poor fella who tased himself and then had the dog bite him, I guess he wins for 'having a bad day." Yeah on your 10 days for writing!
    Chelle-wine and chocolates it is!

chrystine- your spreadsheet sounds booked to the max, I hope to live vicariously through you all during the upcoming conference :)

Holly- how was the massage? The garden?

oh.. end of day brain is kicking in.. I need to start taking notes here or I will never win the claim of 'best post' in recapping!

wow, too much lurking and skimming here and I am not quite sure what happened at the ice orgy, I must go back and find out! (almost like a 'hook' slipped in there)

Happy anniversary Chelle- and enjoy your visit!
Marcie- when you said you heard sssss I would probably have thought 'snake!' instead of 'hose' and tore out of there.. Good thing you are more level headed than I.

Holly- enjoy your massage! Oh that sounds heavenly :) but you sure earned it.

I'm feeling a little down today as I saw the finalists for the TARA contest (congrats to all!) and none were me :) But, now I must move on and decide what to do with that MS. I was kind of 'frozen in indecision' about it. I'm not sure whether to revamp it or move on. But I did send in a query for a short story, to keep plodding ahead :)

Sam on your writing! I bet that feels so good to have the words flowing! I hope it keeps up for you.

I am an evening grump. I am up early, like it or not, but I get used to it and by 7-8 p.m. I am getting tired and grumpy and just want to relax. My girls and DH know it, I know it. Tickling at that time...may get someone killed :)

Happy Birthday to you! I hope it's a great day for you.

Annie-that comment made about writing your voice? To me, it doesn't really make sense unless you only write one character all the time, but how would you do additional characters in the same book? No, I don't agree. See, I knew it was you who was another one of our resident pollyannas :)

Congrats to Brenda! Which book was it of hers?

Mexico.. ahh, I went there many, many moons ago, BC (before children) and hope to someday return. It is beautiful there, but it is in such stark contrast to the desolate, poor areas. So sad. How did the kids react to the nudists? Mine would still be badgering me with questions, I am certain.

No Holly? No Ellen? No Annie? Oh no, I don't think I can fill those shoes as I live like a metiocour (how do you spell that?) Molly..not quite a pessimist, not quite the optomist but something in between that is highly determined by the amount of caffeine, chocolate and how tight my panty hose feel today...but here goes...

Good morning! It is a FANTASTIC wonderful day and almost Friday for those of us trudging (oh! that doesn't sound optomistic...)umm.. fluttering? perservering? blessing others with our presence? in a day job :)

(silently repeating..I'm smart enough, good enough and dog gone it people like me :) ) gotta love SNL!

lol, I bet Holly will be touched when she returns to see how much she and her cheerful disposition have been missed :)  I went to a seminar about motivational thinking last year (several for that matter, I'm not sure it helped) and the one thing the speaker said was starting each day with 'let the games begin!" and "I feel fantastic!!" To shape your mood that way. When I try the 'fantastic' reponse I DO get curious looks from others, apparently I am not convincing or they feel I am losing it, a bit...

Ellen--I hope your morning meeting went well and you are back to feeling fantastic and filling the holly-shoes of joy here.

Jeannie- you made me laugh about being unable to 'laugh your butt off' lol, if ONLY exercise could be so easy and fulfilling :)

Sandy- how scary about the tornados! I guess if you live in an area that deals with that a lot you get  a little 'used' to it (like when I was in florida and they were amused at my terror over a hurricane) as we Pa'ers take the snow with stride (most times, lol, I didn't say no whining about it.. lol) But tornados, the few times we hear about the potential I am filled with terror. It is so sad about how may people have been affected by those and the storms.

Jennifer- re the poison ivy, my girls are very sensitive to it as well. I can give you a load of advice, but you may be aware of most of it already? Like shower, don't bath in a tub, for the oil and hot water help spread it, don't go into hot tubs, steam, anything with heat helps spread it through the body once the oil has been removed (so not to others, but just oneself), etc.  Also wash anything that could have contacted the oil: shoes, coats etc for the oil can stay on material for years and you can catch it from something that was in a closet with oil on it.

Plus a new thing my pediatrician recommended, which I have yet to try but makes sense..if you are going to be in an area where there might be poison ivy, take some claritin or something first.. as the posion ivy is like an allergic reaction of your body and some people are more sensitive than others. So I plan to try this with my girls, as we had it from July--sept last year, so I researched everything I could on it!

Sorry to babble on about it, I hope it helps and she feels better--poor thing!

Ann-sorry about the R, as a reader, it sounded like an interesting story.
