And good luck for the next 18 days. 100+ hour weeks are incredibly draining.

Because I've been on deadline (and still am - despite it being school holidays!) I forgot my manners - meant to say thank you very much to Wayne for having me.

    all best

Michelle - that egg recipe sounds scrummy.

Nic - that's the tour guide who also makes great brownies Wink

Can't answer your paracetamol/cancer question, Paisley (it's basically one of the safest painkillers and it comes in a suspension form for children - also used to lower temperature - but it's not effective for severe pain and it definitely doesn't work on toothache, as I can attest from my nightmare last summer) but I can answer the Penhally bit.

It's a Medicals continuity which started in December in the UK - set in a Cornish fishing village's family doctor practice. There are 12 books in the series, written by eight or nine different authors; the senior partner in the practice appears in all the books (his story is the "continuity") but the main love story in the books involves people connected to the practice. Mine is the doctor and the village vet (who's more than just a vet - the title "The Doctor's Royal Love Child" kind of gives it away Wink).

     Hope helps

Heidi - sounds like a great trip! And come on, tell all about soul food.
Michelle - ah, now I understand. Actually, I like polenta. But I'm more likely to let it set, slice it and layer it with fontina and mushrooms and bake it in the oven.
Donna - I know the spider thing is gross. (I used that in "Mistress on Trial", aka "Strictly Legal" - actually, I'm surprised that got past my ed's radar!) Caravan is definitely better than a tent. But I'd still prefer a nice cosy cottage that we could use as a base to explore an area. (That's what we're doing in July, when we're visiting the Peak District.)
    I love risotto, too!
