Yeah, I think I'm going to have to pass on this one as well.  Sleep won out last night.  Good luck to those of you who entered!

LOL Aurelene!  No, DH doesn't have any free time right now either.  He decided to go back to school, he has a part-time job now and is starting a new business.  It's only a matter of time until I can cut back on my workload.  In fact, I have this whole weekend OFF!  I've been writing for the past hour or so and am going to try to finish up a contest entry.

I did some research after my last post, too.  DH is going to make me a shelf for my treadmill so I HAVE to write for an hour while walking each day.

I see a couple of inspiring posts there.  You ladies may just motivate me yet!

Lori, that sounds like an interesting article.  Oh, yeah, exercise is another thing I'm supposed to be doing daily.  LOL  Maybe I'll get DH to make me a wooden laptop stand for the treadmill and then I can write while exercising for an hour a day.  And stop working weekends as soon as his income picks up a little bit.  Time to take control instead of letting all this other "stuff" control me.

Will there be any other editor pitches this year?  I've done it to myself again with overwork and don't know if I'll be done in time for this one.

    LOL @ Nini.

I try to program my dreams to help my current stories along.  My Nocturne story got really scary the other night.  DH was Sonny and I was Cher, and our kids had gotten us a 1960s washer/dryer set in harvest gold and olive green.  The scary part was we liked them so we sang "I've got you, babe."  What that has to do with shape shifters, werewolves or vampires, I don't know.

    Thanks for the input!

     Missus-G,

Great idea!  I've been muddling through some online romance writing workshops this year and just started going to the local writers group meetings.

DH is pretty supportive about the idea of me locking myself in my office a couple of times per week to write.  I guess it's all on me now to clear my schedule and just do it.

Wow, deja vu here.  I can relate.  I found myself getting resentful with my family because it felt as if I carried so much of the load.  They all have time to pursue their hobbies, but I still don't have time for writing  There's always something in the way - taxes, planting the garden, dealing with insurance companies.  I left one of my jobs last January and took a part-time job so I would have time to write, but then DH lost his job so I'm back to both jobs now.  I can't possibly get up any earlier or stay up any later being as sleep deprived as I am.  It's been 10 years of dreaming about writing without much to show for it.  And now I've got writer's block, too!  LOL

Ahem. Where are your pictures?  And please tell me you're not the same age as my son because that would just really spoil it for me...  LOL

Yeah, Medium has gotten kinda weird this season.  Most of the reason I liked watching it was because Joe and Allison were so supportive of each other, but all they've done is bicker since they both lost their jobs.  Cripes, too close to reality there!  LOL  Don't need to watch unemployed, bickering married couples on TV, not entertaining at all.

Netflix has Sliders and Quantum Leap on their Instant View site.  Those were cool, too.

Wow, more Charmed fans?  I've never met anybody who watched that show. (OK, anybody MY age!)  I had every DVD episode and book ever made. LOVED Charmed. Now I've moved on to Ghost Whisperer and Medium, which end this week for season finale, right?  I just started rewatching Supernatural from the beginning, also thanks to Netflix, because I had missed so many episodes.  They already canceled Moonlight?  Oh, sure.  I just watched two episodes of that recently.  It was pretty good.  I never got into Buffy the Vampire Slayer, tho'.
