Holy cow!  Really?  Wow, that's amazing and gratifying. :)

Powells is totally overwhelming. O.O  I can't stay in there very long.  I just sort of start whimpering.

The third book is very nearly ready for press.  I've just finished one of the last sets of edits on it, and am darned pleased with how the story wraps up. :)

Hey everybody!  Yay, glad to see we've got a thread going for HoC!  Man, I can hardly believe that book is out already!  I'm working on revisions for the third book in the trilogy right now, and the excitement of having people read the second one is helping push me along. :)

Well, you gotta admit Jo's *old* car is pretty sexy... :)

I'm sure that otherwise you're *exactly* like her. :)

Flights to and from Alaska?! Where are you stationed?  I was born in Kenai, went to college in Fairbanks, and lived in Anchorage until moving to Ireland a couple years ago. :)  If you're at Eilson let me know (via private message or email, if you prefer) and next time I go to visit the in-laws we'll have lunch!

I'm beside myself with excitement over the Chance project.  I've been working on it for...five years, in the longer term, but two years in a really active sense, and I can hardly believe it's actually happening. I can't wait to show people the first pages, and man, I hope I can find a way to reach my Luna readers to let them know about it, because it's another story with a strong female protagonist doing crazy things, and that seems to appeal. :)

Bahah.  I can't wait to see people's reactions to THE QUEEN'S BASTARD...it's a *very* different kind of book, full of sex and politics and much more flowery language than I use in the Negotiator or Walker Papers books, and I *love* it, myself.  It's a big change for me artistically, and I hope people like it as much as I do. :)

I knew there were problems with the images, yeah.  I think it's all fixed now, but what a bother. Oi. :)
