I'm seriously considering joining ACFW. I was surprised to see how many of you were members.

Can any of you share the pros and cons of joining?

On writing time. Everymorning I get up at 5:30 get DH off to work. DS's off to school and try to squeeze some writing time in before my dd (3yrs old) wakes up. It's horrible to say but most days I park her in front of Dora with a bowl of cereal. LOL

Janet. Thanks. I attended a local chapter about three years ago. But they seemed too worldly for this conservative girl. Wished I had a christian writers group near by.

Yeah, God's love is amazing. When we were divorced neither of us were "saved". Now we both have a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Lindaloo remember you can not change him only God can. Keep praying for him. And judge the tree by the fruit it bears.

This is the first time I've posted on this board.

Just wanted to say I've enter the contest (courier) and would love to read everyone's entries after the winners are selected.

My anniversary is the 23rd. My second anniversary. My dh and I were married for 9 years then divorced. A year later (by the grace of God) we were remarried. We've been married for five years since.

Everyone thanks for reminding my husband is like a book. He needs to be shown he is loved. Not just told.

Before i can submit i have to finish my ms and the rate i'm going it doesn't look good. Okay so I missed my first goal. I cut out 8000 words because i realized i had written "in circles".

So I took time out and wrote a 10 page outline. (to keep my typing fingers on the straight and narrow.)

Entered the Big Finish 2 contest. (Did any of you enter?) I thought it was a fun idea. 

Now my new goal? To reach a total of 35,000 words by April 1st. I'm currently at a whopping 15212.

Pray for me? 

I agree with you about the spark and passion, and  I am a very conservative christian.  If you can use your books as a witnessing tool  good for you.
