I know novella's aren't supposed to count as 1 book, but I've been listening on audiobooks to all Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series, and her novella's, according to her web site, are 192 pages, 288 pages, and 192 pages.  If the Desire's coming out now are only 179 pages, wouldn't Janet's novella's count as 1 book each?  I've finished all three novella's, just waiting to do a Book Review, but don't know if I can count them as 1 each.

I like to think my 5 little votes for David Cook helped!  The total of 96 million votes cast was a run-away new record.  And I was happy to hear Simon apologize to David Cook for seeming to slight him Tuesday night.

I THINK David Cook should win as he was the more original, willing to change the songs up a bit to make them his own, and had a better variety of songs that he sang.  Unfortunately, it seems the judges were pushing for David Archuletta, who did very good last night, but he sang the same type of song ALL 3 TIMES!  Slow, ballad type songs - by the third song it got boring!

I managed to vote 5 times for David Cook!  Will keep my fingers crossed!

He has been the most consistent, most original contestant this season.  David Archuleta is very good, but needs to mature more and work on his stage presence.  He has a great voice though!

Syesha has a very good voice, but her performance is too theatrical for me.  But you can tell she's having fun now, and it's improved her singing.

I think Syesha will go tonight, although I've been fooled before!

Jason was being interviewed by our local Fox affiliate (Philadelphia) and she said he looked relieved to be gone.  He admitted he was over his head, that trying to memorize 2 songs was too hard, especially with all the stuff they had to do, and that next week, each person had to do 3 songs, and he didn't think he could do that.  Wish he'd gone sooner.

Hi Lorie!  I saw on May 2nd that you said the code would go out shortly.  I don't know if you've sent it or not, but I haven't received it yet.  If you have have sent it out to everyone would you please send it to me?

I could believe that Jason said he wanted to go home - I don't think anybody this far along could give that bad of a performance!  He absolutely wrecked "I Shot The Sheriff" and forgot the words to "Mr. Tamborine Man"!  Simon was right!  "Pack your bags!"

David Cook's first song wasn't bad, but not memorable; he made up for it on his second song.  I thought Syesha did a good job on both songs - I think she's thinking about having fun now, probably knows she won't win.  What can you say about David Archulata?  The boy can sing!  He has a way of picking the right songs.

I really can't believe that Jason is still there!  If people would only vote on singing talent he should have been gone weeks ago!  I felt really sorry for Brooke - though I couldn't see her winning, I did think she did better than Jason and should have stayed while he left!  Didn't get to see what they're singing next week or who's mentoring - right after they announced who was leaving I switched channels.

Jason was, in my opinion, bad on both songs.  He deserves to go this week.  David C.'s first song was okay, and I really liked the second song.  He can take any song and make it his own.  Brooke's first song wasn't very good, but she did really well on her second song.  David A. wasn't memorable on the first, but came back and did really good on the second song.  Syesha did okay on both songs, I think Simon was right, she is a good actress, which made her look good.  I really really hope Jason gets the boot this week!
