Aurelene- That's an interesting way to cook a turkey. I never thought of using the microwive. I'm sure it saves a lot ot fime, too.

Yesterday afternoon (after I worked!) a friend and I went to the Victorian Country Christmas  festival. We had an absolute ball. I hadn't planned to buy much, but buy, I did. Such cool stuff at such great prices... Including some bracelet watch thingies for myself. And two celtic harp CD's, which I plan to wear out!!

Later this afternoon I'll be tutoring a foster kid again. Could be the same girl as before... or not. Now, to work!

Holly- Colleen is a very nice person. We both moved from one agency to the other within in a few months of each other, and that's been great.

If anyone out there likes romantic suspense, I read Colleen Thompson's Triple Exposure on the plane. PW gave the book a starred review, with good reason. It's a great read! I learned some things about writing, too, as Colleen is great with non-cliche ways of describing things.

Happy December, everyone. Sounds as if everyone enjoyed Thanksgiving. We did! A week on the beach, lots of time with family... it was wonderful. Flying home wasn't so great though. Thanks to heavy winds and rain, I crawled into bed at 3 am (6 am Florida time)-- meaning I was up 24 hours. Ugh! But I know I'll feel normal again after a good night's sleep tonight.

This weekend is for writing and packing. Monday morning we leave for Sarasota for a week with family. Should be a blast! I'm taking my laptop but who knows if I'll check in? Maybe, maybe not. What can I say, it's iffy...

 Because I may not be back online 'til Dec. 1, I'll go ahead and wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving now. Gobble gobble and enjoy!

What a spate of gorgeous weather here! Crisp, cold nights and daytime temps around 55. And sunshine!! A few days of it, at least. I'm sure the rains will return very soon.

 LOL I had to have someone tell me how to do those boxes since I kept seeing them and couldn't figure it out. Immediately under the text box where you type your comment you see the little tool bar with icons. The one next to the "undo" arrow, with two dark lines to the right of an arrow pointing to the right is the indent button. Click that one and you'll see the cursor jump to the right a bit in the text box. paste whatever it is you are quoting from previous messages.

Shewolf- This is so cool! We'll see if the box forms when I post this.

It's really foggy here, with visibility in some places about 5 feet. It'll burn off soon.

Shewolf- My Sisters is the new book, the one that sold out at the booksigning Thursday night. You'll have to let me know what you think... I love the way you put someone else's comments inside a long box. How do you do that?

Rae- I can just picture your hair a lovely bright orange. I'm betting every one of us has a hair color story that could curl the toes... Speaking of curls, your new perm sounds cute.

Holly- Yes, a lovely feeling, indeed.

Michele- Cool that you collect signed baseballs! How do you store them? Do you have them on display in your house?

Holly- You could lighten it some ... Or not. Hooray on the book progress!

My agent has been on vacation all week. I'm hoping to hear something when she gets back...

I had a book signing last night and .... ta da.... We sold out of books! That has never happened for me before, and it was great!! The manager ordered more and I'll stop by the store Monday afternoon to sign stock. Which she asked me to do. Gosh, that feels good!

Another signing set up for tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed ...
