Gotta take advantage of the new room before we get to 50 posts and I have to start the big search for new posts again!
Love the pics of the new house Donna. It's soooo neat!
DonnaH...party time!!! Can we all come and crash the festivities? Would you notice a few extra people? I want to see your waterfall and throw a penny into the pool. Or do wishes cost a loony now?
Enjoy your Mom's visit Wenchy. How did you fare in your area during the storms the other day? We really got hit hard. Luckily, no damage on our property, but our next door neighbour's tree at the back came down and knocked his fence against our toolshed. Only damaged his fence, not the shed. At the front, same neighbour, different tree...a big branch came down across his driveway. So all day today we heard chain saws and the wood-chipper thingy machine. It's normally such a quiet neighbourhood!

So, Bren, does this mean you love horses now?
Whaddaya think, Jord? Has she been converted?
Hi, Jules!

((((Donna))) Why do so many men think time on the computer is wasted? Your hubby's certainly not the only one. And I often tell mine the same thing you did...about wasted time in front of the tv. But when there's something that mine needs to find out, or forms to download, etc. etc...he's perfectly happy to send me to the computer. Men!! grrrr
Yes, Wench...how many dogs now? And what became of the horses you adopted? You never mention them.
Hi to all.

I'm here, too. Lately we've been spending three or four days a week at the cottage (even though there hasn't been much "good" cottage weather). When we get home, I DO read all the posts but there's just too much to comment on.
Glad you're settling in, Donna. I can only imagine how much stress is invoved in moving across the country.
Good to hear from you, Bev. You're always in my thoughts.
And, Wenchy...I wish you could send some of those strawberries in my direction. Driving through Brussels yesterday I was thinking "Hmmm...there's a strawberry patch not too far away." I could almost smell them!
We had guests at the cottage for four days over the weekend. And DD and Kaylee dropped in for a day and a night. It was nice, but I don't seem to have as much energy for that kind of thing anymore. I find myself simplifying things any way that I can, rather than going all out the way I used to. Maybe that's not a bad thing.
Hi to everyone!

((((Bev)))) So good to see you again. Donna's right...we're here for you any time you feel like venting. It often helps a lot to share the negative things as well as the positive. Glad you're off the radiation. And it sounds like your dh is where he should be. You can't do everything, for everyone, forever.
Donna...enjoy your granddaughter this afternoon. I'm having Kaylee this afternoon and evening and I can't wait.
Hi to everyone else.

Shades...Dean Martin
'Fraid I can't help you Wenchy. I, too, bow to your DM knowledge. (You ARE a DM Freak
.) I knew he only spoke Italian in his early years but I didn't know where he lived, and didn't know about the funeral. I DID know he tried boxing. I only cared about how good he looked and sounded
. And I won't be burgling (?) your house to look for that 8x10 glossy. I much prefer the way he looked in the 60's, at the time of his tv show.

That's Amore....Dean Martin
Holy crap...glad I didn't have to pass a test to get in.

You're Nobody Till Somebody Loves You...Dean Martin.
I saw that Lis, and growled...but if Wench is vouching for you, you can join the club (if you pass her tests...what are the tests, Wench?). Came home from the cottage after the long weekend and found umpteen posts, and since I can't check what's been used already I thought I'd wait for a new room.

Water...ugh. I go through periods where I drink lots and lots of water, then I get fed up with having to pee all the time, so I quit for awhile. And I'm at home and never far from a bathroom. How do you working gals handle having to pee all the time? Or is it just me?
