So far, nothing that Robyn has said or done makes me 'like' her. Now she wants him to sign his proxy over to her -- why should he trust her? He has no way of knowing how she would vote. Since her promotion is so important to her, she probably would use his proxy the way Bradley wants her to and not vote the way that Jon would.
After all this time she still hasn't figured out how bad things are between Bradley and Jon. She didn't realize that the reason why Bradley called the meeting while Jon is away so that he can make some changes, vote on things without Jon 'blocking' him. The only way that can happen is if he has Jon's proxy or whoever has it votes along with Bradley -- not against him. I can't see Robyn voting against Bradley since her promotion in riding on this.
In many ways I dislike her even more than the heroine in the previous daily.

Robyn is focused on one thing only -- that promotion -- to prove to her parents that she 'is' successful. Though I have to wonder how she measures success. She is willing to give up everything just to prove something to her parents -- that is sad.
That being said, she has to be quite naive or at least oblivious not to see that Bradley is 'using' her. If he were truly only interested in her skills he wouldn't have made her breaking up with Jon a requirement. That should have clued her in that something wasn't quite right.
I just hope that she doesn't end up doing anything else to hurt Jon. It is obvious that for him their relationship was more than a 'fling.' Did she even give him a chance to explain that to her?
April -- you're right about communication playing a key role here.

Not only is this the second online read (one after another) where the 'heroine' left years ago, the new daily also has a 'heroine' that did the 'dumping.'
While the stories are good, I don't like it when eharlequin posts stories like that together. They've done that in the past with other plots. I would rather read totally different types of stories at the same time.
Sandi was not ready, nor was she mature enough 12 years ago for a permanent relationship. Can't wait to read more of this.

This is very frustrating. I would love to read more -- now. So far, I don't care for Robyn too much. She knows 'something' and she is keeping it from Jon. Is her promotion that important to her? There is something else going on here with her.
I read Luc and Belinda's story. It was great! There were many times that I wanted to 'shake' Luc -- he showed poor judgment more than once. I read it in one sitting -- couldn't put it down.

Chapters 19 and 20 seemed shorter than normal. This story needs more.
This was just 'too easy' for Sara. No explanations, nothing, and they got back together -- Huh? I feel like I missed an entire section of the story.

They had sex, had an opportunity to talk, instead, had sex again. She really hasn't said much about anything--no explanations nothing.
One chapter left! I hope that Jill is using her word count wisely -- we need some resolution to all of this.

She still hasn't said why she left without a word -- and didn't contact him for five years.
I hope that things are resolved in the last two chapters.

I still need more from Sara before I begin to empathize with her. All she said was how sorry she is. There is no reason for Sam to believe that things have changed.
FF this chapter wasn't enough for me to 'root' for her. I can't wait to read the final chapters. I am hoping that Jill is able to wrap everything up neatly.

I realize that Sara had issues in the past. However, right now I don't feel any empathy towards her. As a result I am more annoyed that they had sex instead of talking things out first--and thereby, didn't enjoy the last two chapters as much as I 'should' have.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, if it were Sam who had done all of this instead of Sara, the majority of readers would be all over him for his controlling/over-bearing way.
I don't care for the 'double standard.' It makes no difference to me if it is the woman or the man.
I am sure that Jill will write a very satisfying end to this story. I am just disappointed in the 'order' in which things happened.

Personally I would 'hate' it if the person who broke my heart five years ago just showed up and decided to seduce me -- no explanations, no nothing.
I realize that this is fiction. However, what makes this story so great is that it is generating so many opinions, similar and different as well.
I am sure that she will have a 'good reason' and Sam will decide to forgive and forget (he's already forgiven her). At this point in the story we don't know what her reasons were, we just know how she is acting now.
I am positive that something in her past made her so fragile and vulnerable -- making her think that she didn't deserve a HEA. During the past five years she probably has finally accepted that regardless of what happened, she deserves to be happy. She's realized that Sam is the one for her and she's come back to get him. I just don't like her methods.
