LOL I LOVE you. <G> Thanks so much for the praise for HIS SON'S TEACHER. Rhonda, I hope you like it! Whoo-hoo that you got the last one! A sell out! ;)

Susan, I'd LOVE to wear blue jeans to national. Alas, ALL my jeans are long (ie, short legs) which would mean I'd have to a) pay $$$ to have them hemmed, which I hate the thought of or 2) <G> wear heels. OUCH! I'll take my capris and patent (sp?) leather flip flops any day. LOL Want some easy shopping? You like bright colors, right? Get a pair of white, tan and black capris, a pair or two of pretty sandals, and mix up your tops. You'll be 'dressy' and comfortable at the same time.

Kim, (((hugs))) Boy, do I remember that pain. I hate to say it but it took about four months for my stomach to settle down. Now I'm good to eat most anything. Did your doc give you a prescription strength stomach med?

Holly, did I congratulate you on 41 books?! Wow. That's all I can say. WOW. Fantastic! I hope to follow in your footsteps.. well, except for the killing the lines/houses thing. InnocentSealedTongue out LOL

OH! I just did something fun to tie in with the readers party etc. I ordered T-shirts. First come, first get. All anyone has to do is track me down and ask for one (while supplies last!). And if I see you wearing them later? You'll get another prize. Laughing

Carrie, ((hugs)) on the dying lawn mower. Are you or Roz near North Scottsdale? The dh's cousins live there and are begging family to come visit. It would be even better if I could meet up with you guys.

Christyne, Harley is sooooo cute! And I LOVE the name. Very appropriate. Can't wait to see you at our breakfast.

Kay - who needs to have a national fashion show to see what fits. I'm determined to wear what I have and not buy new for the gala etc. I'm repeating an earlier Harlequin party dress. I loved it and can finally fit into it again.

(Get your mind out of the gutter! <G>) Happy Wednesday!!! (I thought I started off with a greeting like Holly then maybe I'd be a little perkier.... hmmm.... nope, didn't work. LOL)

    Mornin', Holly!

Jeannie, nope, I haven't taught. But I have a lot of friends who are teachers and they made sure I got the tone right. Glad you're liking HIS SON'S TEACHER.

HERS: that's the system used to fill out the art fact sheets for our covers. Not sure what it stands for.

Carrie and Tasha, we're going to miss you guys. Don't talk about us too badly, okay? ;)

Superromance Readers' Party SF details! We have a room, Pacific A, and the party will be July 30 from 7:30 to 9 (then they'll kick us out of the room!). Ellen's working on a fun/easy game, there will be prizes, chocolate--and tiaras. <G> If you lurk and are attending nationals, please make a point to come party with us!

Loving everyone's responses to the game. I have NO idea what I'd be. Gonna have to give that some thought. I'd really want to be someone like the gal on Bewitched. I loved how she could wiggle her nose and clean her house. (If you could see my house at the moment, you'd understand!)

Kay - *sigh* off to clean

Again. I lurked this morning and came home to 27 messages! Good grief, Batman! <G> I think I'm a Superman fan as well. It's all in the Super name <G> Liked Batman, but like Susan said, his relationship with Robin was... different. ;)

I finished my revisions today! I've been putting off inputting them forever. Just didn't want to face the pages and DO them. But, they're done. Now to write that Dear Reader letter etc. Oh, and fill out the HERS forms. ACK! LOL

Kim, I'm so glad  you're feeling better, if drugged. <G> Glad to know things went well. :)

Welcome, Beth! You'll have to stop by more often.

Deb, I hear you on keeping up. It's impossible.

Creepy: Marcie, definitely keep track of your surroundings in regard to this guy. This is making me nervous. Document everything, avoid contact etc. My radar is blaring.

Cool--a friend just emailed me to let me know I'm in Harlequin's Inside Romance because they interviewed "Nick" aka Stephen the model. Check it out at http://offers.eharlequin.com/insideromance/images/InsideRomance.pdf

And sad... My ds is beyond consolable (sp?) at the moment. He accidentally deleted the hard drive on his PS3 and lost everything--after ranking in the low 800s in the world at a game. (He started off around 15,000) The dh and ds are now down at my bil's (enough abbreviations for you?) now trying to save what, if anything, they can. I have one upset kid on my hands. If you remember, he's the type (like most of us) who is hardest on himself. *sniffle*

I'd forgotten about the cheesecake! OMG. Jody makes the BEST homemade chocolate cheesecake. It just melts in your mouth and isn't on a diet anywhere. Shoot, now I'm going to be thinking about it. *sigh*

Ellen and Tasha, thank goodness I'm not alone. I do the same thing. I have to see the pages and how they look. No white space, too much this or that. Repetitive words? Who, me?

Carrie, congrats on the job! Health insurance is a must. Both my kids need braces and we had to postpone dd getting her expander due to the dh switching jobs, that way insurance would cover some of it. Not much, but some. Every little bit helps.

Christyne, I'm still dancing for you, too. You are going to have a BLAST at national. First sale, first Harlequin party. Enjoy the ride. It's such a special time.

Holly, Saturday's are good. <G> You always make me smile, you know that? :)

Vieve, that was just beautiful. Beautiful! I'm so sorry it's so quiet where you are though. I love hearing the birds sing. I'm always amazed because it seems like the smallest birds are the loudest ones. LOL Sometimes that's the same with people, no?

    G'night!

Sorry, Holly. <G> But it's true. I have to edit on hard copy and while I had light revisions and got them done days ago, I'm postponing inputting them because I *hate* going back in to add them. Anyone else do this? It would be so much easier to edit onscreen but I just can't. (Have I complained enough?<G>)

How about this: IT'S FRIDAY!!! <G> Anyone have plans this weekend?

Welcome, Jody! You delurked! Jody and I go way back. We met when we showed up for an RWA meeting as newbies. She's also proof that I have been known to share a room with a stranger at conference because the two of us were the only ones going from our chapter. Despite only knowing the basics about each other, we shared a room. (And I didn't even get ice cream. Can you believe it?Tongue out)

I weighed in last night and *finally* made it back to my 25 pound mark. Vacations were a killer, and I can't get into the groove of exercising again, either. But, I'm back to that 5 pound mark again. Five more to and I'll hit my goal. Weee!!!

I'm loving the snippets. I wanted to post a longer one but didn't. Didn't even think of editing it down a bit to make it shorter. Duh. LOL I have some books to get in the future!

I'm so, so happy for you! Congratulations. I can't say it enough. CONGRATULATIONS! What a great call story. Can you imagine if you'd never called to check on the status of your story?! I can't wait to read it--and to meet you in person.

     Yay!

Kay - who really, really has to go finish revisions.
