Nini, I can only IMAGINE what it's like trying to handle middle schoolers *kim shuddering*, and writing! This saying reminds me of a character in one of my all time favorite books, titled The Upper Room, written by the amazing Mary Monroe. The main character is simply out of this world. Simply indescribable. Her name is Mama Ruby, and Lord have mercy, I imagine that this is one person the devil comes close to shuddering when her foot hit the floor.

Anybody home? hehe...I'm out of the loop for a few months, and come back and no one is here! Hmmm....okay, I see Lorie. Hiya Lorie, what's shakin' mami? What's up with moi you ask? Wellll...since you asked, I just finished my erotic thriller, WOOOHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

The rascal just went back to school this week, and mommy can now devote her days to writing, and not swimming, vacationing, etc etc. In addition to that, I won't look like something the cat dragged in every morning, as I normally was only able to write when Kimmie jr went to bed, which God love her, was around ten or eleven at night. No more staying up until three am,  to get my word count in. YAH ME!!!

Hmmm....that's all I got. Okay. going away to celebrate finishing my book by buying something new and sparkly from the kitchen and houswares at Bed, Bath and Beyond. God, I'm such an appliance whore. teehee...I stole that title from mi muchacha Lauren D

Tracy Wolff, I am coming to your chapter meeting tonight :) I just realized you were a member of the austin chapter when I downloaded mapquest for directions to your rwa chapter meeting and surfed your chapter site.

As usual it's been cool playing with you ladies! I have to go offline, again, until I finish the next book. Between QVC and you chicas, and my latest distraction, Facebook...I have no discipline evidently, lol. So, off the laptop and on to the alpha to write and finish my book.

I have a tat on my lower back, spans across the top of my bottom. Hmmm...I've had it for a few years. I need to go check in the mirror--unlike Charlotte I don't have wall to wall mirrors in my bathroom. Damn it. I'm jealous of Charlotte and her fun house bathroom-- and see if that sucker is still where it's supposed to be, hahaha....

LaurenD is an appliance hoooooor-- too funny, I love it!! I'm not alone in my dark, scary world where I lovingly caress my kitchen gadgets when no one is looking! Slap a scarlet letter on my forehead and lable me a ho...appliance ho that is, as I proudly embrace my unnatural love for electrical things. And battery operated things. hehe...

Not if you come and visit me, Lauren. When you come! Vivi is coming to visit this year. Why don't you come too, mami! And bring your little friend, Megan with you, teehee...we'll have a jammy party, the four of us. Catch up on gossip, talk about cute boys and paint our toenails, and watch really scary movies and do each others makeup...and drive my husband insaaaaaannnnnnne!

Charlotte, your kinda cheerleading is just what I need! hahaha...not. I succumbed. I should expect my pretty shiny in 2-4 days. Teehee...

The rascal is sleeping so I got up early and knocked out my word count, woot! As for what I'm working on, I just turned in a manuscript a few days ago, and am now working on another. lol.

Seriously though, I just turned in a novella for an anthology I was asked to be in, managed to knock that one out a couple of weeks before it was due, and now I'm writing an erotic thriller/suspense. This is my absolute favorite genre to read. I read mostly mainstream thrillers, but also read romantic thrillers. Love love LOVE this genre! My first book was a thriller, so, I was happy as all get out when my editor was keen for me to write some for her.  I met James Patterson at BEA this year. I had to hold back a squeal as he signed a book for me. Okay, maybe a tiny one escaped. teehee

Actually, this is one of two in a series. May be a third. Won't know until I finish the second one. My characters kinda come out of nowhere and POW...gotta write their story too. The book I'm writing now, is titled The Sweet Spot. My hero is an ex FBI, special ops guy. Heroine is a crook. Or so he thinks. She kinda is. In a way. She just isn't aware of it, lol... I also just got copy edits for another book coming out next year, and am waiting for revisions for the book I did for Simon and Schuster, to come my way any day now, as well as revisions for another book coming out next year with Kensington. That's why I always try and get my stuff done a wee bit before deadline. I hate to bombarded.

Okay, getting offline again. Was fun chatting with ya! I don't see my girl Megan, or Lauren D, so, I'll just tell them to be good. Or, if that can't be done, then be delicious in your naughty
