I feel like a slacker compared to you guys! My only news is that Mr. Chelle found me the best anniv. gift ever...a chihuahua baby. He's sooo freakin adorable. He fits in the palm of my hand and his ears are bigger than his head. We named him Rico. I'll have to load a few pics as soon as I can get my stupid camera to work.

Kim ~ You're one brave woman! Never did the wax thing...but a friend did. Take two meds!! I'm just sayin.... It may be easier for some people though.

Sam ~ Way to kick butt on the synopsis. It's taken me a week and mine is still a mess. I think one of my characters even wandered off somewhere...

Christyne...well, I was gonna hug ya for the dd issue...but--WooHoo! Way to go! Congrats on the SSE sale!!

Marcie ~ Just be very careful. Police can't really do anything unless something happens. Which totally sucks...but maybe they know something you don't. Like--why his family left. It may not hurt to see if police dept. will talk with you because you never know...something may have happened already.

I wish I could make Nationals with yous guys and dress up. Mr. Chelle said he'd even buy me a tiara. My little one said I'd look like a dork. *sigh* But I think we finally found a lender for a house we can work with. We may be moving soon.

Holly ~ It's hard because we miss him so much but he's been relatively safe on his base so far. Thanks to our incredible armed forces. Tomorrow is a huge day of celebration because of our military! I get teary-eyed when I think of the sacrifices they've made so that we can be free! (Plus I'm trying one of your fabulous dessert recipes!)

Susan...sorry to hear about the loss. I've got a teen and it's so scary to look at the depression/suicide statistics. And it always seems to pour when it comes to family things happening all at once!

Ronda ~ Try explaining to a five yo why 3 girl dogs hump each other. That was an interesting conversation. Yep...Mr. Chelle is here until the 13th. I saw the alpaca show! We love Dirty Jobs. Thought it was pretty funny.

Jeannie ~ We're going to a family BBQ on the lake and back to town for the McLoud Blackberry Festival. It's usually a big thing around here and we have a friend that is a firefighter there...it's a big fundraiser for their department. Most small fire departments will run out of gas money before the wildfire season even picks up this year.

Holly ~ Have fun with the new BF! I've got the baby pictures well hidden...but ready when needed.

Aurelene ~ LOL! No duck, but we will have my 5 yo ds birthday and Thanksgiving while dh is home in November. We usually fry and grill turkeys and have the whole traditional spread. Then we try to get all of our Christmas shopping done while dh is home so he can feel like he's a part of that holiday as well.

JenniferS ~ Hugs! Hope you feel better. No fun being sick during the summer!!

Holly ~ Yep...always get teary-eyed when the little one screams and runs across the room to jump on his daddy. But it's sad to see him get so attached again because now dh can't even go to the bathroom without ds following him. My oldest is a teenager and is even participating more this time and hanging out with dh.

JenniferF ~ Thank you! Dh has a contract through January of 2009...but they've offered him the foreman position which could extend his contract for several years. Even if he doesn't take it...he will probably sign for at least another year. He'll most likely stay through January of 2010.
