- good to know07/04/2008 - 15:14Good to know my out of body cottage cheese aisle book sighting wasn't too abormal!
- 06/29/2008 - 10:19Okay. At the risk of making myself sound like a geek of epic proportions, I was beyond thrilled to see Killer Cargo on the shelf at Safeway. I don't know why this tickles me more than seeing it at Borders or Walmart, but getting a peep at that cover right there, across from the cottage cheese just really floated my boat. I was so excited I had to drag the poor unsuspecting clerk over to see it. Wow. It's the little things in life, you know?
- 06/28/2008 - 10:38Hi all. Coming up from under a cloud of smoke today to do a book signing for Killer Cargo at a Borders here in northern, CA. Man, is it smokey! Looks like dusk at all hours. We still have over 800 fires burning here and resources are stretched beyond capacity. I know this for a fact because my hubby is a Fire Marshal and they are all scrambling. I read about the terrible flooding in the midwest. If we could just get their excess water together with our parched, burning landscape, we'd have a proper fix all right!
- 06/14/2008 - 08:20Oh bummer, Donna. I get that penicillan rash too. Hope your little gal is better soon and your moving woes are over. So exhausting, isn't it?
- 06/14/2008 - 08:13I'm seeing it today, so will send along my comments later, but I think that the movies are more nostalgic than anything else for me. I don't care so much about his age as long as his personality is still the same. I just love those movies because you know it's going to end happily. Hi tech? Hmmm. I'll have to see what I think about that.
- 05/30/2008 - 16:41Hi all. I just finished listening to Born in Death (JD Robb) on audio book. Wow. More violent than I like, but boy can she write gripping plots and wonderful characters.

You know, I love a good suave, strong, masuline hero, but you know who I think are the REAL heroes in this world? SINGLE PARENTS. They are amazing. Can't imagine how they do it, God bless them.
- 05/24/2008 - 17:35Margaret, I can relate to the excitement of summer. We still have three weeks here and my fourth graders are bonkers.

Hard to resist the lawbreaking, suave debonair kind of thief. You know, a Pierce Brosnan type. I loved the Thomas Crowne affair. Best thief movie I've seen in a while.
- 05/10/2008 - 18:35Hi Arlene. Your book sounds great! I think small towns are so neat to read about because while seemingly quiet, they've got all kinds of things going on beneath the surface. Thanks for chatting today.
